Topic: ok guys...i finally hit ONEderland!!
this morning the scale finally read 199!! i was beginning to wonder if i was going to get under that 200 pound mark. i've been sitting on it for days. that brings me to a loss of 130 since surgery and a total of 150 lost.

NO, BUT I'VE SEEN MY HAIR EVERYWHERE. 
i went and got a really, really short haircut - that'll teach it for falling out.
and i colored it blonde. seeing all that gray hair was distressing. (you know how you don't really notice it as much in the mirror) 
i've read about certain shampoos you can try but i'll be darned if i can remember the name of it. maybe someone else can help with that.
i, too, would do the surgery again in a heartbeat.

I was made fully aware that the hair loss thing was going to happen even if I got all my daily protein in
, but does anyone know how to stop the hair loss. Or when to expect my hair to stop falling out?
I know there is no exact date and time, but I'd like to know if I should just start wig shopping.
Still loving every aspect of this procedure and would do it again in a heart beat!!!

I have had this pain too. I went so far as to ask my sister to call the doc for me cause i couldnt walk. It turned out to be gas as far as i know, because as soon as i passed gas (excuse me) it went away before the doctor even called back. I am going to see my surgeon tomorrow and doublecheck that everything is ok. This has happened to me more than once.
I hope everything turns out well for you.

Hi Kath, Congratulations on your weightloss. You are doing awesome. I have had back problems for most of my life even as a thin person. It gets dibilitating at times but keep up your spirits, that grandbaby is going to need you. She is precious.
