Topic: RE: Worried!!!
Thanks Kia! I will try that. I know I don't get enough exercise. However, I did walk to the park carrying my 17 month old. I have walked on the treadmill some, but I am still trying to do more. The water is my big thing. I will try to drink more. For some reason it is hard for me to drink the amount of water that I should. Anyhow, I appreciate your input and any others!

Topic: 6 month check up
Went for my check up last week, (my official 6 mos is tomorrow)--all my lab work came back really good, my protein and calcium levels were even .1 higher than normal,,,,,HURRAY....I've now lost 81 pounds and am feeling really good except for still being verrrrrrrrry tired, don't know exactly what's causing that-I'm thinking it might be depression. I have a very strong family history of it and will be seeing my PCP on Tuesday to discuss the 'situation'....LOL. I don't feel sad or 'down', I just have zero energy and am unable to concentrate on anything. I know there are lots of hormonal changes and chemical changes happening in my body right now, but I know I just don't feel right. I don't won't to wait any longer, and I've read that depression can cause us to fail with this surgery and I absolutely won't let that happen!!

Congratulations!
If you send e-mail to [email protected] and put Century Card in the subject line and tell them what you want, they will do it for you.
Jeanie, almost there!

Topic: Yet Another 6 Month Report :^)
(I posted this by mistake in another forum, and I feel like a doofus.
)
My labs are very good, so I'm getting in my protein and vitamins like I should. The surgeon is happy with my weight loss and said nice things about how I look.
(Is it ok to love one's surgeon?)
I hate to post this after all the surgeries I've had, but I have another or the same hernia. He said the mesh seems to be holding it in for now, and hopefully I will be able to wait until tummy tuck time to have it fixed. From his mouth to God's ear... I'm wearing a binder again, just to be safe.
I posted pictures of my skin graft and hernia in my profile if anyone wants to scroll down to see them. The thing is huge. I've named it Pokey to go with my Gumby (very flat) butt.
I'll go see the surgeon again in 3 months, and we have decided to fly this time from St. Louis to Omaha. The flight is less than an hour and the tickets are $38 before they add on all the extras. Not bad. I've never been on a plane, so this should be quite an adventure! DH is going with me, so we'll find our way together. He was in the Navy and flew all over the place, so I'm counting on him to guide me.

Topic: RE: meats and cheese taste awful, anyone else feel like this?
Try organic. Foster farms and the like. It is much better, also soy is great. Tofu, and Edamame. Also, Morning star meals are good, and they have all the stuff you miss, with not a stitch of meat.

Topic: Update
All right, it's done. I added to the writing page, this will be an ongoing story, and I'll update once a week or so.
BTW- If you don't like vampire stories, you might skip this one. I'll see about getting some short stories up in a week or so.
