Wow, John,
Good for you. I had mine one year on 02/16. I have lost 110 pounds so far. Have about 20 to go but I am happy here. Healthy too. Have a great anniversary. Sarah

Topic: Need to know where to begin
I am trying to jump thru WA DSHS hoops. We are almost ready to send in the approval for stage 1. If any one knows in OR or WA where to find an surgeon, how to make things move faster. It feels like the donkey chasing the carrot.

Congratulations on your weight loss. It's nicely reassuring to read the profiles of the people who are a year out and have had no complications!!
I have a question about calcium, my doc said tums 3-4x a day will do but I've heard on the boards here that tums is not the right kind of absorbable calcium ... any ideas?
Thanks for sharing your story with me! I have 8 days to go, hopefully I'll be talking to you on the other side!

Topic: RE: One year labs...
HI Steph--I haven't had my 1 year labs yet (will do them Feb 24th) but my 5 and 9 month ones were ok,,,,I hope this all turns out OK for you. I wonder if it could be because you lost so much weight so fast and will settle down once you maintain your weight for a while....hope so!!
Best wishes
