Topic: The countdown begins...again.
Hi guys!
So I am scheduled for January 24 for my revision on my Y-connection. They would have but me in earlier but I wanted it done on a tuesday. I do not want to be in the hospital over the weekend(god forbid if something happens) in the care of only the residents on call...no way. I know how that story goes.
I am almost 100% sure this will make me better. I know it sounds very sad (b/c oh boy do I know the risks of surgery) but I am looking forward to having this surgery. I just do not want to be in the hospital in 2/2 or 2/7, those days need to stay away from me! Bad Luck. I just can't believe this saga is a year in the making already! Oh my goodness...the surgery gods need to be good to me this time around!
I get asked all the time if I regret doing the RNY and my answer is always, no. I just wished it could have been easier for me, that is all. This all just has made me such a stronger person than I already was. I just look forward to when everything is said and done.
I know I will never go back to eating/living a certain lifestyle ever again. The last thing I want to do is make myself sick, I have been sick enough! I told the surgeon on monday if down the road when I come in to see him if I mention I ate something bad like an oreo or cheez doodles, I told him to kindly remind me everything I went through and then strangle me.
Anyway, I am now focusing on eating to try to stablize my weight. I have nothing left to lose but so far so good. I feel like a little piggie b/c I'm always eating. I still cannot believe I am wearing a size 0...i mean who wears a size 0? That isn't even a number.
Have a great holiday everyone and I'll let you guys know of any other updates. You guys have been so super to me, its unbelievable. I do not think I would be so sane if it wasn't for the support/emails I have recieved from here. Thanks so so much! Take care.

Lynne, keep your spirits up hun, you've come a long way....don't stress over the half lb, it isn't going to stay there, keep working your tool, you've done great.
Best wishes to you, my surgery twin, may God bring you lots of happiness and joy in 2006.
