GG, Your doing awesome. I know that the WW meetings were helpful to you , have you thought about going to a over eaters annonymous meeting instead? From my understanding they are free, and it's that same type of group support, even though you can use your own weight loss plan. I don't work out at any specific time, I do it when I have time. So sometimes it's first thing in the morning, and other times it's in the evening. I don't think it matters when, as long as you just do it. I find going to the gym is really helpful to me, because I know I can'****ch TV or eat, I'm there for just one thing to work out. I really want to get a new bathing suit (the one I bought at the beginning of the summer was a 3x, and now I'm a XL or a large depending on the cut), so I can start swimming again. My gym has a great pool. Scott

Yes, it does feel good to have the weight off. I am very pleased with what I have been able to accomplished thus far. I tried to find the website arivacostarica.com, but was not able to locate it. Do you have another area where I can go to in order to see it?

Way to go girl! I can't wait until I have a "1" at the beginning of my weight. I am only 6 pounds away from reaching that goal and 10 pounds from reaching my ulimate goal of 195 pounds. Good Luck -Bill-

I am now down to 205 pounds and my pants size is 34 and shirt is large. I am so amazed that I have been able only to reach 205 pounds, but also that my pants size and shirt size have dropped even more. I have only 10 more pounds to go before I reach my weight goal of 195 pounds.

Good Luck on your surgery. My doctor told me that I'll have to write a letter and he'll write a letter in an attempts to get my insurance to pay for my plastic surgery. While I am hopeful that they will do it, I also have to be realistic in knowing they will not pay for any of it. We'll see.

I saw the plastic surgeon yesterday. He thinks insurance will pay for my tummy because I'm having problems with rashes and infections. I'm having serious problems with my armpits too. He doesn't think insurance will pay for the arms. But, if they do pay for the tummy and he can do the arms at the same time, he will do the arms for about $2,000. I could afford that. The surgeon was REALLY surprised at how tight my abs are. He said he wouldn't need to tighten the muscles at all. I should know something in about 2-3 weeks.

Since I am coming up on my year out (2/24/2007) from surgery I thought I would check into plastic surgery to remove the excess skin. My insurance will more than likely not pay for this procedure. I just got a estimated quote back from one of the doctors of $18,950.00 dollars. This of course if I have it done will come out of my pocket and if that is the case I most likely will not do it or at least not any time soon. It's a shame that after doing all that we have in order to loose our weight the insurance companies will not support us in completing the journey. I also have two other surgeries that are taking priority over the plastic surgery. I have a rotator cup torn in two places with bones spurs and my breast bone has grown outward which the doctor told me I could have it fixed if it bothers me which it does. My insurance will pay for those surgeries.
