I'd love a breast reduction and tummy tuck. I had what is termed an "internal hernia" which is where : internal hernias occur when the bowel passes under bowel. With gastric bypass and duodeanal switch, the rearrangement of the intestines creates a potentinal trap. Sometimes these traps are closed, but as you lose weight, the trap opens again. If you have an internal hernia, you'll definitely need more surgery to fix it and to pull the intestines out of the trap. Sometimes the blood supply to the bowel can be interrupted as the bowel passes into the trap. If this occurs, some of your bowel may may have to be removed. When your procedure is done laparoscopically, you tend to form less scar tissue, which may result in more internal hernias.
