Topic: Ending 2006 with surgery...
I had my rny on 2/22/06, I have done fabulous! I developed some discomfort that I kinda ignored.
In the past 24 hours, I've been diagnosed with an internal wall hernia at my RNY site, had surgery, and been discharged from the hospital.
I wish I had the number of that bus that hit me. It's really made me hurt.
Ofcourse, this just wraps up an crazy year - I hope 2007 turns out better.
I also found out I have endometrosis. And to think. I was considering a breast reduction, now that I've been through surgery, it will be a long time before I see a gurney if I have any control of it.

I hear you!!! i spent all day the 27th with a very sensitive tummy....now i am back to the old way or should i say the right way i should eat...CRUSES TO THE HOLIDAYS lol

I found out for sure that I don't dump. I had chocolate covered pretzels, cheese cake, apple pie, cookies, and a ton of other stuff I should not have eaten. Now, I didn't eat much. Just a bite ot two of each and not all at the same time. I did however eat so much quantity wise on Christmas Eve that I almost made myself sick. My tummy is still sensative. I learned an important lession .... don't let my eyes get too big for my stomach!

I think i have offically STOPPED losing but i am totally OK with that. I wear a size 8 i feel incredable and i can tie my shoes with out holding my breath who could ask for more right??? i really wanted to lose just 2 more pounds so i could hit the centurty club lol but you know what???? I SAY I LOST 100 even if it was only 98 lolololol whos gonna know?

Everything that went in to my mouth over xmas did me in lol...Sweet potato cassaroll...DUMPED honey backed ham...DUMPED....2 Christmas cookies DUMPED lol i fanially gave up.....damn christmas and all the good food...it just wont be the same again..hahaha Hope everyone had a great holiday...even though i spent a good portion throwing up lmao HAHAHAHAHAA

I went for my doctor's appointment today to get my lab results. All my lab work came back excellent! I am so happy! Everything from protein to sugar to cholesterol was great. I am down to 192 lbs. I can't wait to get into the 180's. It actually seems like a possibility now. I have lost a total of 116 lbs and feel great. Thank God for allowing me to have this life-saving surgery. Happy New Year to everyone!
