Well before surgery I never had a regular period. After surgery my period was sorta regular only because it came every month but never on the 28 day cycle. Then I started taking Deprovera and it's been a struggle. The first 3 months on the shot I didn't see any bleeding. I never went back for the 2nd shot because I become aware of the side effects not that I didn't know of them before I received the shot. Now that I don't any birth control I am constantly bleeding but not heavy and pantiliners have become my new bestfriend.

Hey Doug,
It sounds like you put on some water weight and some muscle weight. Both of which will skew the scale.
But if your tracking yoru food and working out the scale has to eventually go down.

well I gained 5 pounds. This week. I tracked everything and worked out much harder than prevouisly. I hope it is jus****er weight as I recently started taking creatine suppulements. I did add 40 lbs to my bench press over the past week and lost 2 inches off my waist so I am looking on the positive. My friends told me they thought I had lost another 20 lbs and that I am looking good. Which I had their rosy glasses.
was down to 221 now up to 226lbs. was below goal for one week.

My trainer tells me all the time that cardio (treadmill, bike and stuff like that) should start at 10 minutes and be no more then 30 minutes. He says if you can do it more then 30 minutes your not doing it at a high enough intensity. He's trained some of NY's most famous sports stars, and says that at the intesity that he works them at, at the end of 30 minutes they are spent.
He had me on the step master yesterday a 1/2 hour (i couldn't do any weight lifting because I strained my shoulder the day before)...and he had me on a high level (level 8) for 13 mintues straight...i thought i was gonna drop, but I suprisingly was able to do most of it...lol.
I'm really grateful to God that he's given me a trainer, it helps me focus and gets me working out even when I'm not in the mood, because I know I "HAVE" to go...because I have an appointment.
