Thanks for the info on that book Scott...I will have to look it up. I know that some exercise is better than no exercise. I have a treadmill and exercise bike and I know that even a few minutes a day helps...I will do better this month.

Hey Loretta, There is a book called the 8 minute work out...i think it's by bob greene (he's been on oprah before). Anyway he has workouts that you can do at home in just 8 minutes every morning. I know it's 8 minutes with 5 kids may be like 1 hour....but it's something you might think about if you haven't seen it. Good luck on reaching your goal. Scott

I too am FREAKED out about gaining weight back. I think now that we are or most of us are platueing we are more aware of it. I do however think you need to eat. liquides cannot be good. And not eatting can cause you to gain weight as well. but talk to your doctor. I am sure you are going to WOW everyone at that party! Stay strong and knwo we are all here for you. J

Hi all! Well today I am 194...17 lbs to go to doctor's goal of 177 but I had set my personal goal at 150...I dont think I am going to make that by 1 year but it would be nice to at least make it to my surgeon's goal. I know I would be loosing more if I would just be more proactive about exercise. With a full-time job, a husband, 5 children and going to school at night, I hardly have the time let alone the energy I need for exercise. I will have to be more diligent and strive for a few minutes of exercise each day. Way to go everyone! Loretta

Hi, Does anyone else have this problem? As long as I start out having a protein shake in the morning, and then stay on liquids I'm not hungry. But once I decide to eat something solid, I"M STARVED. I'm sure it "head hunger", and its got me really spooked, I am soooo scared of gaining my weight back. I just dont understand why if I dont eat, i'm not hungry. I'm making a point of trying to really feel when I'm full, but yesterday I found my self still feeling hungry even though I KNEW my stomach was FULL. I am really stressed right now, but I thought I had resolved my stress eating issues. Tonight i'm going to my husbands work Christmas party, And i'm nervous about eating, about peoples reaction to me since last year I was at 400 lbs when I went, I have the picture that was taken I cant believe I dared show my face and all 4 chins. Oh well, I could go on for ever so I better close. Thanks for listening (or reading). Cathy
