Topic: 1 Year Crunch week 1
Hey everyone, Thanks for posting to the one year crunch post....how are you all doing?????? Are you eating better? Trying to work out more? what steps have you taken this week to reach your goals? Me: My starting goal was to lose 40 lbs by the time I hit my 1 year anniversary. Starting weight: 466 This week: 461 Total lost: 5 lbs!!!!! Ok so 5 lbs down 35 more to go. I've cut carbs out for the most part and have been working out with my trainer 3 times this week. Although I have to admit, I did have a cookie attack after working out today. I ate this gigantic rocky road cookie...YIKES!!! It was a really hard work out...so I deserved a treat??? lol...at least thats my story and i'm sticking to it. Look forward to hearing from all of you winners out there. Scott PS if you haven't posted your goal....and want to get in on the action....set a goal to reach before you hit one year.

Isnt it amazing, I burst my husbands bubble by weighing less than him. He had been trying so hard not to let me catch up. I havent told him that his pants are too big for me yet. He knows I just dont want to hurt his feelings.

Topic: My hair!!!!
Well I have been losing hair like everyone else. But I went to my hair dresser the other day and he informed me that my new hair was growing in rather well. And that it was curly. I have always had straight here. So this is new too me. He says I will like it. I knew it was going crazy but I thought it was because the new hair was pushing up what was left of the old hair and had to wait for it to get to a descent lenght to cut it to match. I have really short hair so I had to let it grow a couple of months. Can you imagine curly hair. Any ideals for what to do with curly hair welcome. new to me and I have no ideal. love marie

Rebecca, did you ever live in Minot, ND? I had a friend there with your name and lost contact with her. Cathy

This may seem dumb to some, but it was a big deal for me. All my marriage (almost 27 yrs) I have been larger than my husband. Well I was getting dressed quick and grabbed a pair of jeans, and they fit perfect around the waist so i ran out to talk to my husband before he left for work, and I noticed my ankles were showing, and asked him if he had dried my jeans in a hot dryer. Then he shocked me by telling me to go take HIS jeans off (he has a 30 in inseam, mine is 34), I was so happy. Of course yes, he has put on some weight over the years, so i still have a way to go to be the size he was when we married. He then tried to make himself feel better by saying well, "those are my loose jeans" lol so I asked for his tight jeans and put those on too. lol Everytime I think about it I just smile so wide my face wants to crack.
