Hey all... Things have finally started to calm down around here. Now that I am an old married woman of almost 2 weeks I have some time to breathe ! IN OUT.... Anyway... I was talking to the new hubby and we got on the topic of WLS. He had been reading a profile of someone who had gotten the Duodenal Switch surgery. It seems like they are able to eat so much more without any problems than those of us with RNY. So here comes the big question... Who looked into other types of WLS and what caused you to make the choice of surgery type that you did ? He is not game for the RNY cuz of the way it is so "life altering" but from what he has read so far thinks that this switch thing maybe easier for the long term. So let me know what ya all think... You're still young, gorgeous, and it sounds like you have plenty to offer. Why not spread the wealth (hee hee). Have fun while you can! Enjoy your new body!

In the 100 Pounds Lost Club?

I can't freakin believe it. 100 pounds. (Actually 100 and 2 pounds!) I don't ever remember being this weight.

Maybe in high school... Dunno cuz I never weighed myself back then. I think it's helped not weighing myself every stinking day. Time to start thinking about that tattoo I promised myself that I could get at 199 pounds. This is me doing the Happy Dance

Ok im working on mine feel free to add me as a friend!!! and i just re read my first few months after surgery...i started to cry....that person was me and i have come so far. reading how excited i was to fit into my 20's and here i am in 8's.....its amazing and i think i needed to re read that i have been so depressed lately about still being single and all and as i read that it really gave me insite on who i was and how much i have to be greatful for. THANK GOD FOR WLS! i may not have a boyfriend but im friggin HOT lmao Hope all is going well for you all! J 271/176/145 WILL I EVER HIT GOAL????

so as much as i want to lose my remainding 33 pounds i woudl feel like a dork going because everyone already says im skinny now ( IMAGINE THAT) wow i have never had this issue lol GG I am so glad you lost 5 pounds in a week!!! thats great i wish i could go back to the days where i lost 3 to 5 pounds a week but does that mean i have to go back to that weight to?? Glad all is well

Thanks. It's not cheap, by any means, but worth it, IMO, because you can use it for life. I paid 40 bucks [no registration fee] for the 'montly pass' because I wanted the free eTools. I may downgrade to just the online plan if I find the meetings are too hard to get to. You can see the pricing for your area at weighwatchers.com. xosm
