Hi Mama,

I am with you on the creamed soups.  I love the cream of potato.  I puree the chunks out.  Also try the new V8 soups.  They are in the soup aisle but are in packaging that looks like a large kid's juice box. No pureeing needed.  The brocoli has a lot of flavor.  Very tasty.

Just an FYI that I love V8 Diet Splash juice.  It was easier for me to get down then water and never gives me that nauseous feeling.  It's caffeine free, non-carbonated and less then 6 grams of sugar per serving.  That's the requirements my doctor gave me and this one fits the bill nicely.

I was required by Empire Blue Cross/ Blue Shield to do 6 months of nutrition classes (1 per month) and three weeks of life skills classes (1 per week).  I saw it as a big ole pain in the butt at first but now I am so happy I went through it.
After the surgery it took me a few days to be able to hold anything on my stomach.  Three weeks out and I'm feeling pretty decent.

Mashed potatoes with a health consious/light butter and skim milk tasted like heaven to me.  I also love my lowfat creamed soups and V8 has a good soup out that is similar to a broccoli cream puree.  Very tasty.

I can't have the crab cakes right now either.  I think sometimes I just like to torture myself.  These TV commericals are driving me nuts!!!  I want a burger so bad.  But, can't try it yet.  Darnit.  LOL

I am in love with campbell's soup at hand. I found cream of chicken and cream of broccoli. It is great for the liquid part of the diet. Very filling and it has no chunks it so no need to strain it. oh and the ones i got are low sodium. Oh and i found crystal light hunger satisfaction..It's natural strawberry banana with milk and sor. It's preety good if you like the artificial sugar taste. I cant get my taste buds used to it lol..I am trying though
