I am having a hard time getting my fluids in.........
Topic: RE: What are YOU drinking?
Kellogg's Special K-Strawberry protein shakes, skim milk, Sobe LifeWaters, Herbalife Nutrition Shakes and water. I struggle every single day to get liquids in!! I have a lot of variety but only the things I have to limit (shakes and milk) go down easy.
Topic: how long did the wls prosess take you
i was just wondering how long the whole process took for people i had a really easy time and my insurance had no restrictions, other then i had to change to a ppo but i went to my first seminar last June waited for open enrollment and switched to a ppo and January i made my first consultation appt. and i had my surgery 4/30? what was your process like?

Topic: RE: 5 DPO Not sure how I feel ..
I am right there with the rest of you. The first week I was someplace I never thought I would be. I also feel I have a high pain tolerance but this surgery blew me away. Today it is day 10 for me and finally feeling liking a human being again. No way I was getting all the fluid I was suppose to get in those first days and a protein shake or 2 - forget it. Those just made me more nauseated. Now it is a little easier and I am on pureed food. Actually started with the 2nd stage baby foods for the convenience of it. Good Luck to us all who had our surgeries in April - we are now on the other side of it and have to move forward. I keeping everyone to their promise that it will get better.
Topic: RE: 2 weeks out and having redness and heat at incision
so this has gotten more red and more sowollen. now when i look at it, i can see it poking out. if i feel around where it is red and warm, it feels like a big knot under my skin. it could be a hematoma. i have to go see my surgeon tomorrow in ocala to see what he wants to do about it. i hope it is fixed with antibiotics instead of a scalpel.
