I am a good water drinker anyway, but had a rough time at first. When I gave up smokiing 3 years ago, I also gave up the soda...(they went hand and hand to me)..So I picked up a water bottle..and now that is pretty much all I ever drink. I keep one by me at all times and constantly sip on it. It is really hard at the meals for me though to remember to stop before, not drink during and wait after...but its happening by habit. I think that is what it is...it becomes habit...
Take a bottle where ever you go...you will be surprised at how much you get in...(tip: put little postie notes at your work area if you can)...

My surgeon is keeping me off thil the 6th. I feel I'm ready to return to work and not one to really like to stay around the house..But my puppy is loving it..she gets 3 walks a day right now.. ..I am just gonna use my time to finish resting up..Don't have sick leave at my work and only 2 weeks of vacation per year...so its kinda nice for the extended time off for me. I work in a machine shop, so there is a bit of heavy lifting involved. I do the shipping and receiving.. I am the only female except for the secretary...All the guys got together and sent me a get well card with them all saying they miss me...they are all so great to me and great to work with. They all know what I am doing and very supportive..I got lucky with the people I work with and I am actually looking forward to going back..and they are gonna do all the heavy lifting when I get back for a while...

You may be able to get a release from a np or someone else in the practice. Shouldn't be a problem as long as you are progressing well. Good luck! Let us know how it goes.

It's really hard! Some days I can drink like crazy and meet and exceed my 64 oz. Today I have about half of them in so far....Need to step up the speed!!! I always have 12 oz hot tea in the am and then just carry a water bottle around the rest of the day. Sometimes I will add a crystal light packet to make it more interesting to drink....

How did you do with the ground beef ? I had surgery the day before you and haven't tried it yet. did you grind it up or just cooked normally?

Way to go on the 18lbs that seems right on par with me i'm down 17 lbs with same surgery day I have lots a lb everyday for the past 2 weeks.
Hope all the issues subside. Wow bummer for the things being stuck and the dump ugh
