Oh yuck!!! I have two kids with fever and I feel a tickle in my throat, I'm PRAYING I don't get anything. I can't imagine eating any less!! lol

I was on the soft diet right out of the hospital and went on the liquid myself. I have dumped once, had the stuck feeling twice and felt generally ill from food. Be careful of how fast you eat and stop before you are full. If you don't know if you are full measure 2 ounces in a glass so you remember the size of your pouch. 2 ounces is about 3 tablespoons. I love hot decaf tea.

sorry you are not feeling well. I also feel the pulling when I overdo and I was open. I have about a 10 inch horizontal scar above my bellybutton. So I think its normal. Take your time going back and it will work out in the long run.

I just can't imagine getting an illness on top of having WLS. I had an open RYN and I kept praying not to vomit but I did yesterday and it felt terrible. I hope you will be better soon. I am glad they kept you in the hospital so you will stay hydrated.

My progress has seemed to take 3 steps back and I feel like I am on day 1 post-op. I had an open but was able to get my vitamins down and eat and drink. For the last 3 days I am barely getting my water down.
We will make it through this. I asked at my support meeting when everything feels normal again and was told on average 3 months.

Sorry your feeling so badly..Flu bugs are nasty, and even worse right after surgery...I am glad my doc let me stay off work for a month, cuz they really know how to spread the germs around my work.....Hope your feeling better really soon.. Happiness....Kathy

I didn't take my meds one night and the next day I was not dizzy but I had a lot of pain. So I will take my pain med until it is gone and put up with the next day med hangover.
I go for my appointment Wednesday. Let me know what you are told about your appointment.
