Topic: RE: Whats your favorite thing about your wls so far?
My favorite things are all the people here who care about me and others. Add to that the private PM's, blog notifications, and our April forum. I love you all!
Soon I know I will have a huge list of favorite things to do, eat and just feel good about but until then I have all of you who give me a warm feeling in my heart!

Topic: RE: Diana/Wonderling? Where are you?
Hi friends,
I am here but it seems like I go 2 steps back for every 1 step I go forward. I haven't been able to eat for 2 days. Dumping and stuck feelings are worse than any other illness I have ever known.
My belly button still leaks and the area looks and feels bad because of the bandages. I think I have lost a layer of skin to blisters. I started folding mini pads folded sticky side to sticky side and after putting a three cotton balls in my navel I tape them on. Then finally I put a folded washcloth over the bandage so I won't leak onto my clothes.
I called the medical supply company to pick up the recliner chair lift on Friday and then called them back on Thursday to keep it another month. This chair has been my salvation. Yesterday I fell asleep from 3:30 to 7:30 in the chair and went to bed 45 minutes later.
I met with the nutritionist and exercise physiologist and they told me to not worry about what I can't do and just do what I can and when things heal I will be able to do more. I am moving around the house a lot and today made a flip flop holder. It holds 12 pair and hooks on the back of my bedroom door. I am trying to get back into my hobbies and the bicycling and camping will come soon.
Finally I have never met such a good group of people as I have here at OH. I don't go to the main forum at all anymore. I don't have a thick enough skin to put up with the rude people even if the rudeness is not directed at me. It's really sad that it's the older veterans here that shoot there rudeness at newbies who came to the forum for advice.

Haven't a bit more energy that I didn't have before! Counting my pre-sugery weight loss, I'm at almost 60lbs lost in 4 months!!
And NOT having back pain!!! TOTAL win for me!! Well, I still have a little sometimes, but not a constant every day type pain I had before!!

Okay, I know there are a few people who are still in the yucky-first-healing-days. But I wanted to start a positive thread about the good aspects of our journeys so far.
I know I haven't lost as much as some people, but loving the new sizes and clothes I'm fitting in. My sil had lapband 2 years ago and she gave me 20s and 22s. I've never fit into most of them but kept 1 bag for 'one day'. Well, I'm in them all. Plus I decided to check the clearance rack at Cato's. Found a tank top for summer in an 18/20 and it fits GREAT.
What's your fav thing?

I don't know if its any better, but she was having to wait on someone to get home and hand her the lap top, she couldn't lift it herself. So maybe she is just busy but would love to hear from her, myself!

Topic: RE: taking digestive enzymes?
I know people take probiotics but there are some digestive enzymes that will make you absorb more so your weight loss will slow. Just make sure its not that kind.
Topic: RE: taking digestive enzymes?
my mom got me some digestive enzymes with probiotics in it. i have tried drinking it after i eat. but it doesn't exactly feel good in my pouch.
i am feeling pretty terrible lately. i still have the sharp pain. my doctor insists that it's nothing to worry about. my blood work should be back today to see if everything is ok in there.
also, i haven't been able to have my rheumatoid arthritis infusion in a month and a half because of surgery. this is adding to my overall crappy feelings. and i am not eating much because of the pain, and i feel really weak.

I take probiotics daily....
I know bariatric advantage has some, but I buy mine from goutcure.com (since we get gout stuff for my hubby from there as well)

PS - how are you feeling now? Did you get bloodwork done?
