You are so organized!!! lol. I'm having the problem of hubby eating everything I DON'T eat. I usually only get 1-2 extra meals bc lack of leftovers. I may have to post a thread about it! lol
Topic: RE: liquid multi from costco?
No, I haven't. I am taking the Walmart brand but I've read a lot of people use Costco brand.
Topic: RE: do you lose more or less during that time of month?
Yes, definitely think it has to do with the weight gain. Plus you retain water and bloat.
Don't worry about the weight loss. It will come off. I'm a slow loser, trying to stay positive.

Topic: RE: 2 weeks out and having redness and heat at incision
not yet. the surgeon said he wasn't sure it would be neccessary. i guess antibiotics are hard on new pouches and since it isn't really infected, i think he wants to wait and see. the main thing is to make sure all the fluid and blood drains. i am supposed to stick a long wooden qtip into the wound all the way in until it reaches my muscle wall :( eww apparently, wounds like this heal from the back to the front. i am supposed to keep it open, so that the fluid can drain until it gets smaller and smaller and then heals all the way. if the tract closes too early, fluid can collect between the muscle wall and the fat. this will cause a pocket that is really painful and can only be corrected by surgery.
i am very squeamish, but so far i have been able to do what he said to it twice. i hate it. it is so creepy. hopefully it will heal on it's own. the only problem is that i take prednisone daily and it cause healing to be a lot slower
