Topic: Surgery Date Finally Have Arrived
Hi everyone I received my surgery date on 9-15-03 I had been waiting since 09-13-02 from the date of my seminar. My surgey date is 9-29-03. I am a little bit nervous but also ready If any one have any questions about the procedures, insurance plan waiting period or to just flat out see how I m doing fell free to do so.

Hi Judie, i went to BTC had my surgery Open RNY Feburary 12th 2003 Have lost 82lbs have only 28 more to goal. I was on clear liquid for 1 week then Full liquid for 2 weeks then pureed from there went to soft foods the 6th week i graduated to solid foods. I had a real hard time getting down the amounts they wanted me to have but it eventually got better My surgery was done at the BTC in Ann Arbor Mich.by Dr. Jon Schram. I've been lucky enough to be getting the protein I need and haven't had any problems with that. I've been on a stand still for about 1-1/2 months not loosing but have been loosing inches so am happy with that they told me that because I was so close to my goal it would start coming off a lot slower. I have went from a size 24 to a size 14-16 depending on the way the outfit is made. Hope everything is going well for you. Topic: New surgery date. Oct. 21st
Surgery postponed yet again. Now I have to have a heart cath. done due to the Thallium stress test showing possible heart attack and blockages!!! Could my day get any worse....Just thought i would let everyone know. So far surgery date is Oct. 21st. But if heart cath. doesn't go well then I guess I won't be haveing surgery..

Ins was approved Wed and on Thurs my date was changed to 9/30!!!! 4 days to go. I can hardly believe it, this has all happened so fast. When I decide I want something I go after it but I never imagined this would happen so quickly!!

Losingm 6m lbs is just the start and a good start at that. Just remember that everyone loses at a different pace. Beleive me when i tell you soon enough you will be telling every9ne you are now down 25 then 50 and before long that special 100 or more. Please be patient. Life is grand on the losing side. This Saturday is my 1 year anniversay and i am down 103 and went from a siz 22-24 to a 9-10. Keep upmthe goodm work and welcome to the other side.
