Kathy, first of allThank-you for this post! I really thought I was failing in this adventure too. now after reading everyones post I am on track. I had surgery on 10/7/03, I was 260lbs, I'm now 168lbs. I went from size 28w to 11-12. I'm no longer on any meds for diabetes, high blood pressure, heart, cholestrol, kidney or depression. I guess there has been so many changes untill, I read this post. Thank-you again tammy

Hello October Buddies.... You all have done so Great! Congratulations to all of you. I have finally made it to 100 lbs lost last week. It feels wonderful. My starting weight the day of surgery was 363 lbs. Today I am at 262 lbs. My goal is around 135 - 145 lbs. I still have a long way to go, but slowly I will make it. I'm not in a rush as long as the scale keep moving in the right direction I am fine with it. I was on a plataue for a long while but finally the scale has started to move again and my clothes feel looser and looser. Barbara Watts

WhoooHOOOO!!! That's so cool isn't it! And it's sooo liberating! I too have a mega huge walk in closet, but you can fit all of my hanging clothes on 1/2 of one side!

Hi Judy, Well I am excited for you! A size 10; HOW WONDERFUL! Reality Check Question? Did you have surgery for health reasons or did you not like the way you looked? If for Health Reasons are you healthier now? If for Looks then you are in charge or "toning" it up. What ever your reasons learn to LOVE YOURSELF! I think Self Love is one of the hardest gifts to give. Find a way to LOVE yourself as only you can. Congratulations on your success! Best Regards, Sharon Chute Open VBG 10.28.03 340/236/190ish

Well October bud's, I am in a size 10. I don't see or feel it yet, but the reality is that of all 14 outfits I tried on today all but 3 were a size 10 and to tell ya the truth the 12's were a bit "big". No, I didn't purchase a single item. Go figure! I am bigger in the waist than i would like and this flabby feeling all over my body has got to go. I can't stand my back... it seems bumpy like the fat deposits are just hanging on in the folds or something. I did enjoy seeing the size 10, but it just didn't look as good as i thought it would when i was a size 24 immagining what a 10 would look like. I think i was seeing myself 20 years ago and maybe in a 6 ... that is a "toned up 6". Gosh i got to get to the gym... REALITY CHECK!!! Will I ever be 100% in like with this body? Will you with yours?
