Sherri,
I didn't know Denise personally, but she was a friend of several of the members of our Indy SCCA (Sports Car Club of America) club. They were good friends with her. I was so sorry to hear about her passing. Her family is in our prayers.

If you've had the lap band procedure and would like to join the group, please do. It's in its infancy, but hopefully will grow and be helpful!
Also, if you have the time to put some thought into this: What things are most important to you when you join a group? What do you hate to see?
Thanks much and wishes for continued success,
Becki

Anyone interested in coming to Marion for it?
Please respond by message or post so I can get an idea of the interest level.

I am sorry that her surgery wasn't done in time to save her life and give her a new chance like we have. But she is no longer weighed down by the burden of obesity. Try to be happy for her and know she is enjoying her new self, pain free, and able to dance, run and even jump if she chooses!!!
Huge hugz,
Tracy
My experience has been that it tightened up very well. It seems to have much more capabilities to stretch and shrink back pretty quickly. After my plastics, the outpatient hospital kept me overnight and had NOOOO food on my acceptable list of sugar free or bari friendly. So for about 36 hours at least I had no solid foods. My pouch shrunk down some then too. So my experience is that it responds rather quickly and does get the restricted feeling back somewhat.
Hope this helped.
Good luck!!!
Huge hugz
