I had my band 14 yes. Unfilled about a year. Gained 10 pounds from goal. Lower carb high protein helps me. My skinny husband does the fasting. He was 200 at his highest and is 159 today. Do what works and great job!
Me too. Mine was placed in 03. I unfilled so long ago I don't remember why
I am pretty agressive where I only have two keto meals within a 4 hour window. High fat, medium protein an vegetables. I do not count calories any more.

you can do this !!! I was banded in 2008 started at 312 got down to 202 back up to 240. Have decided Im sick of this too!!!
I don't feel I have health issues from the band. I just never fully got control of everything I put in my mouth.
I am back in the gym 5 days a week. Doing a lot of strength training which i actually enjoy! never knew this always did treadmill with no results . Almost 50 so decided its time to get this under control once and for all

I was banded in 2008 over ten years ago. I have lost 75 LBS but still need to lose more to get to my goal weight. Have no health issues except I've been in the gym a lot recently and notice some swelling by my port probably due to weakness in that area. Im working out 5 days a week and feel better then I've felt in years trying Keto/IF and its ok so far. I just made a appt with my surgeons office for a upper GI just to check to make sure everything is okay. Otherwize I feel great! Elizabeth

I had my band put in 2008 and hear some horror stories and get nervous from time to time but never had real issues. I haven't been on for years as well.I have lost 71lbs with the lap band and back at it I'm trying hard now in the gym everyday and eating healthy. I am trying Keto/IF as well just started and hoping for similar success. Do you count calories? or just eat 4 hour windows a couple of meals ?

Hi John. I'm in a similar situation. My band is still in from 2014 but I don't really use it. It got me down from 265 to 220 but since so I had most of the fluid let out a year ago, my weight is creeping back up again.
I have been been thinking of saving up for a revision but am intrigued by your success with intermittent fasting. Can you recommend any resources that you used?
