I have been waking up through out the night with horrible abdominal pain. finally got in to see my Dr today and she said sure enough it is my gallbladder. She was surprised my bariatric surgeon didn't take it out when he did the RNY. Well now comes the testing leading up to yet another surgery. I had my bariatric surgery in Nov, developed a fast growing tumor in Jan that led to a total hysterectomy in February and a total right knee replacement in May with a manipulation to help it bend further in July...I don't know if I can do another surgery! Did any of you have problems with gallbladder following your bariatric surgery? any ideas of how to prolong the surgery with out dealing with the nightly pain...I desperately need a good nights sleep as well. I have been searching for gallbladder diets but nothing has been helping so far. Any suggestions?

    Hi, just wanted to tell you you look wonderful. Also want to thank you for get my mom the information for my own bypass. It's been 2 yrs. and I'm at 220lbs and feel great. Sometimes I can't beleave I started at 460lbs. Thank you again.

 I know I haven't been on here as much as  I should but where is everyone else? I know as time passes we get caught up in our own lives but there are new people having WLS every day and we need to be here for them . I hope everyone is having a great summer and are doing well with your WLS. I am holding my own but have gained 20 pounds from my lowest point. I do not want to gain more. I hope everyone is enjoyinf their life and happy but we are here if you need help.

Does anyone know of a support group around the Holts Summit/ Jefferson City area? I live with my Godbrother who also has had gastric bypass four years ago. We were talking that we could go to a group and maybe help out others. Then we can also use some help on things to eat and new things. to try.
