Sleep Apnea Machine

I was"FORCED" to get a c-pap machine to take to the hospital for my surgery this past Jan.  I used the machine for 3 days and haven't used it since...especially now that I'm down 50 lbs and don't need it, I would like to sell it to someone who needs it for the cottage or vacation home for a spare.
Got it from Home health Care (shoppers) and it is a ResMed Elite  the newest silent model with the humidifyer.  Comes with everything, hose, mask, cords and carry case.  I can send you photos if your interested...Make me an offer

I don't think you are allowed to resell these as they are classified as medical devices. They must be set up by a professional and you need a prescription.

the machine can be re-calibrated to whatever the presription is.  (my aunt is a respiratory therapist and works at a company that provides the machines)

they are for sale all over kijiji.  they can be resold. 

however, i do see on OH, that a lot of people pass the machines onto others for free because they are only needed for a short time.  I am getting mine at no charge (of course i will have to purchase a new mask and tubing) and after my surgery, I will be passing it along to the next person, at no charge.

Well, I could have tried to sell it on kijiji but I really thought about the people here that could use a spare, as I believe that if your get a perscription for one,as I did, you should see a registered respiratory therapist....
So I'm NOT trying to pass-on this machine to some newbie to make a quick buck...I personally would never take a used c-pap machine at no-charge from some stranger for a perscribed condition..why would you?

I will take it in and have it cleaned and recalibrated to my own prescription.

You should have been given the option to rent the unit, they were supposed to give you two options, buy or short term rent.
