Optifast while away from home for the day??

I may be spending the day at the Toronto Zoo with my daughter for the year end class trip.  It's the day after I start Optifast, so hHow do I do Optifast when I'll be nowhere near a blender for the whole day?  I understand you can't premix it, so what's the next best option?

Thanks.

Did you just add cold water, or did you get some ice from a vendor?

Take your water in a bottle.  I would suggest freezing the water and putting it into a cooler so it is reasonably cold.  A hand shaker is what I used to mix my shakes at work.  It worked fine.

Thanks for the help, ladies.  I guess I'll invest in a shaker now.

I had to do 2 shakes away from home today so I used a 1 litre re-usable water bottle and added cold water and the opti to it and just shook it up.  Shake it for a while though, the lumpies are gross!  LOL

i usually used a shaker bottle. You can buy a bottle of water there, if you want to be sure its cold.

I would also bring some ice in a bubba keg or something to mix in with it.  Or ask at the fast food place for some ice.

this is the bottle i have:

i like it because it comes with an agitator (a little whisk-type ball) that you shake up in there and it gets all the lumps and stuff mixed up. it's always worked really well for me.
