Congrats Laura! I have been offline for a couple weeks and couldn't wait to see if you had heard anything yet! I am Jan 6 in the yellow book so am thinking I should be about a month behind you! Question? Did you already have the surgery nutrition class thingee? I haven't been called about that yet either :( Good luck sistah!

Hi Kim.
Susanne and I were one of the very last people to receive individual nutrition instruction before they started implementing the class, so we do not get to take that. I think they have already had a couple of classes though for other people that are in December.

I had Dr. Reed and he had me do a scope before surgery. From the time that I saw the Dr. till I had surgery was five weeks. I did two weeks of Optifast just before surgery. I had my surgery on March 21 st of this year. Dr. Reed is awsome. I had been told by different people in Guelph hospital that he was the best one for the proceedure. Good Luck.
