Looking forward

I am new to this journey. My surgical date has not been scheduled as yet. I really appreciated everyones input as to what changes are going to happen. This web site is so full of information and encouraging friends. Thanks to all who share information.

This forum and the fabulous people here are a wonderful source of information about anything and everything to do with weight loss surgery and a terrific support group.  I think you'll enjoy it here!

I'm also still waiting for surgery but very very excited about it because I feel it is approaching quicker than I ever anticipated!  I initialy thought I wasn't going to see an orientation date until October/November but it looks like I'll have my turn in the summer! 

Where are you in your journey?  What centre are you going through?

I am attending the Windsor BAC. Surgical orientation July 21. Dr. C suggested I go to St. Michaels in Toronto for surgery.

Glenda, do you mean that you've already had all your appts with the nurse, SW, dietician, etc. and all your various medical tests? Is this the surgery education class you're having next month - the one you have just before you meet with your surgeon?

I have another appointment with the dietician Aug. 4. From what Dr. C. said is that after I attend the SEC my file will be sent tho the surgeon. Dr. C. suggested I go to ST. Michael's. I'm so excited!!!

Good for you - I'm almost at the same place as you are and I agree - it's SO exciting!!!!!
