Not if you run some ho****er through the machine. Just brew a cup with no K-cup in place. My girls use the Keurig all the time just for fast ho****er for other types of tea and hot chocolate too. It's way faster then boiling the kettle.

Karen Costco sells the Timothy's coffee for the Keurig machines as well, I think a box of 80's for $39.00 but I think its Colombian or could be the breakfast blend. Its a great tasting coffee at any rate.

Yes, I keep hearing that Ann. LOL  However, I've been there twice now and all I can find is Van Houtes or whatever, which I do not like. haha

What I *really* like is the "My K Cup" permanant filter thing I bought - I can use any coffee or loose tea = MUCH cheaper.

Just to confuse you even more did you know that you can also buy Kienna pods for your Keurig?  They are cheaper to buy than Kcups and you can buy another little device like the mykcup for the pods plus they are far more environmentally friendly since they don't have a throw away plastic cup.

Haaaaaa!  Hey, nothing wrong with a little edu-macation!  Now you can talk intelligently about coffee machines with your colleagues and impress them with your vast knowledge.

Superstore now sell them, and they had varieties I hadn't seen (or noticed).  They were on sale last week there too.
