Such a great day I'm having!

 I'm posting from my iPhone, so I'll keep this short & sweet. I'm having a great day! I met with Jairo the social worker this morning and he was so pleased with my answers to his questions that he said he wanted to make me his poster girl for WLS! He said I really made his morning, and I thought to myself....no, you really made MY morning! 

Then I got smart & asked the ladies if they had any surgical cancellations, just in case they could squeeze me in so I don't have to drive back down here in 2 weeks for my next appointment...and I got lucky and they are squeezing me in!

But best of all, was the fact I got to meet two OH'ers!Smudges just had her surgery and is doing SO well! And I also got to meet Monica, the wonderfully funny & smiley lady who I could sat around drinking coffee & chatting with all afternoon!

I tell you friends, if you ever get the chance to meet people from this site, Do it! You won't regret it! I always enjoy  meeting the amazing people that make up this Ontario forum! You folks are the best!

It pays to be a smart cookie!!! Glad you are able to book an extra app't at the same time!!! Saves the driving!!

I just wanted to comment that I am also on this site ALL THE TIME too!!  much more than facebook because I don't talk about this surgery on facebook and that is one of the main things going on for me right now.  I think it is so great that there is such a wonderful group of people sharing thoughts and feelings and valuable information on this site!!  sorry, didn't mean to change the topic here...  back to having a FANTASTIC DAY!!! 

 Congrats on being abole to book the 2 appointments.  never works out that way for me. 

I also love this forum because everyone on here is so incredible and inspirational.  While keeping it real.

It was great meeting with both Monica and you today Toni. Thanks for all of the Advice you gave. I am sitting back comfortably at my hotel tonight and not stressing out. I hope your Surgeons appointment went well, at least now you could transfer to Sudbury.
