Question re. skin rashes

A cousin of mine had WLS and she told me that a nurse practitioner said, she should use Nizrol shampoo every day in the shower under her tummy and my cousin said it worked every well!

Nizoral is an anti fungus shampoo.  Has your doc ever told you if your rash is fungal or yeast? 

I've never had to go to a doc about it - just always used the penaten.  Now I'm paranoid due to upcoming surgery and want it GONE.

I have a tube of cream at home that I got from my doc after I had my son for the rash I get under my panni. That was 5 years ago, the rash has never gone away. Rather, it comes and goes... a few weeks a month, no rash, then it will come up again I can't remember the name right now, when I get home I will check and post in this thread.

Yes 5 years :S  if I have panni problems now, I am terrified about after surgery.LOL!

It isnt hydrocort, but I can't remember exactly what it was.  Now its bugging me.  Will not be home till 830 either. ugh.

is it Lamasil?

I gotta recommend "Anti-Monkey Butt" powder. Yes, that's the real name and you get it at the pharmacy. If I found it here in my small town I bet any Shoppers or other chain will carry it. I was using cornstarch most of the time but found the AMB helped with the itch better. It's not expensive - less than $10 for sure.I haven't used it on my butt but I have under my panni and on my inner thighs and it works wonders.
