I woke up this morning and was preparing my oatmeal. It hit me like a ton of bricks, my life is going to be forever changed in just over a month.
I had to take a seat. I do not second guess this desicion at all but wow. Thank you for letting me share this experience with you all. This forum has been a wealth of support, information (some good,some bad). And well the overwhelming kindness I have experienced first hand.

Yup! I reallized that yesterday in Pre Op Testing. That in less than a week, the long awaited event will be over and I will be on my way to a new, healthier, happier me.

I took stock while sitting in the tiny chair of what will change for me - chairs, people looking at me with disgust, new clothes, easier walking, gardening, bike riding, less pain.... more life.

I was so happy and shocked that it is finally happening....
