 So my tape just fell off the hole above my belly button, is that ok?

its likely ok. Does the hole look like its staying together? If it makes you feel better, put a bandaid over it, nice and tight...

 there was some gut spillage but just a metre or two. 

it seems to be holding, and no band-aids allergic. Ok well fingers crossed it stays as it should.

push your guts back in. stuff a sock in the hole if they look like they want to come out again (a clean sock, of course)

if there is no ooze or opening it should be ok. If you are concerned you can always go to the pharmacy and get "steri-strips".....

They are suppose to fall off as you heal. If now seepage you should be fine.

you can always use a stapler....   LOL 

 You shouldn't pass up the opportunity to get more protein before you mend the hole, the protein powder could dry up the ooze and the more you get in, the less you have to eat...

Thanks for starting this thread, I've enjoyed reading the "Help" you got.

On a serious note, my tape didn't fall off (they said not to worry if it did), but they pulled it off on my 1 week check up.  Just keep an eye on it and if it starts looking weird get it checked.

Oh, and by the way, if you start growing threads, don't worry about it.  I just cut mine off before someone thought I was coming appart at the seams.  Never did, and my stuffing stayed in nice and tight.
