My Lululemon Love Affair

There are two Durham area groups... One is transitioning from an older group to a newer perspective and rebranded as a Rouge Valley group but there are people from all across Durham... The other is every 2 weeks in Whitby.

Both have a very different feel to them.

As for the East end one...After I am healed I am going to go into one (if they'll let me come *eyebrow wiggle* because the women there are lovely too) and if you are in the Durham area we can carpool if you'd like.

I have a crazy schedule in the winter at nights volleyball one night ringette 3-4 nights a week. I I can go I would love to. Can you sen me more info on rouge valley group 😉

I think it is awesome that you are loving the Lululemon line... Just a quick side note though. Never wear them when you are going for extensive medical imaging.

It is a really big deal with MRI's. Apparently a lot of their fabric as metal in it. It is part of the wicking sweat away technology.

So... Enjoy just... No medical imaging.

I too love lululemon clothes. My daughter wears them and I couldn't wait til I could fit into something in that store. Well this Christmas was my lucky break. I got Xmas gifts ..Lulu...gift certificates, bought Capri workout pants, sports bra, studio pants(couldn't believe I fit in a size 10) and a workout top. Seems a bit shallow to be so so excited about this but the fact that I can now do something I was never able to is
absolutely the most gratifying experience. Cheers to us!!!

Ack! I have been lusting over those very same pants for some time now.  I adore them, but I am scared to go in and try them on.  I am a size 12, sometimes 14, and I noticed they only go up to size 12.  I'm afraid I will burst my bubble and be very disappointed if they don't fit  :)   Do they have ANY give in them at all or are they very unforgiving that way??

I haven't been in to Lulu lately, but my new addiction is the BENCH stuff.  Such beautiful sweaters and jackets!

Marny I wear a size 10/12 in jeans and I wear a size 6 at Lululemon!  Just go in and try on a pair of size 12's!  They do have some give! I bet they will fit! 

BENCH is one store I haven't ventured into quite yet!  Scared of not fitting too!  Haha

I have no fear of the yoga pants. I have tried them in and I usually get an 10, sometimes even an 8. It's just those studio pants look like that nylon-like material that does not stretch at all. I loooove the look of them though. I've seen them on lots of people. I like the charcoal colour.

Marny I will post a picture of me wearing the size 6 Studio Pants in a bit!  Just have to figure out how to get it from my phone to here!

Anti-lulu lemon after very rude experience. As I was preparing for this journey I went into the Westboro, Ottawa lulu lemon store. I asked the girl if they carried plus sizes. she looked me straight in the eye and said, "we only make clothes for active people". I was too embarrassed and left. Now, I am down 105lbs. I now feel confident enough to write the manager and tell him/her what happened and how Inhave spent hundreds on new clothes and that NONE of those clothes will ever come from lulu lemon.

I have exactly the same fear! I got a Lululemon gift card for Christmas too but I am terrified to take the plunge. I currently wear a size 10/12 and what if they don't fit?? What if the epitome of clothing for a "fit" lifestyle doesn't actually fit ME because I am just a poser fat girl pretending to be thin?????

I am having an anxitey attack just thinking of it!!
