when do I start?

So far i have been doing great... I have tried diluted juice, and soup broth... what about cream soup? is it to soon to try? what and when did you start eating "food"?

It depends on what your centres instructions are. I started cream soup as soon  as I came home from the hospital. I was at HRRH but then we are not supposed to have diluted juice, so I am not sure about your centre. Don't  forget to strain your creamed soup and enjoy the lovely savoury flavour.

Cream soups are fine so long as they have nothing i  them like mushroom bits. They would need to be strained or blended in

ok..lol i ate the soup.. had 2 tablespoons and took a nice long twenty mins or so to eat... seems ok... not hurting ect... I am thru Ottawa and they said when i left it was ok to have it but i guess im nervous... i must be feeling better as im wanting to try food...lol

Ottawa is a bit more progressive than other centres with respect to the food plan and progression through the stages.  Now that you are home from hospital you are on full fluids.  Re-read the booklet they gave you at the post-op briefing just before surgery.  Start highlighting things you would like to taste again and try something new.  I had a blast eating food again after 3 weeks of Optifast and then fluids.
