Just wanted to share my excitement to finally make it over the 100 pound weight loss! - I've 38 pounds to go, to reach my goal of 160.
I'm still feeling worried it will all suddenly stop, but I keep reminding myself I am following plan - I even could not avoid a lunch out at work yesterday and made the best choices from what was available - protein - grilled, veg, no carb, and sauce on the side.
Then ended up taking my boys out for dinner to celebrate a milestone for one of them - again, Protein, veg, no carb (restaurants seem to be use to this no carb request, as they said absolutely and substituted extra veg for me)
For both meals I ate 1/2 and asked to take the rest home - ended up with 4 meals total - and lost 1 pound this morning.
Anyhow, I just keep chugging along - some times it takes 4-7 days for even 1 pound to come off, and then its 1 pound every day or too - very odd how the body works!
I keep walking as much as possible, that seems to kick start the loss if its stalled for a few days.
Still surprised when I see my reflection when I'm out and about - I have to pause to realize that's me!
Hope everyone has a great weekend!
Sunny

you will feel like shyt and hear the water literally dump into your intestines. Your tummy will hurt and you will run to the washroom where you will wait and push and wait for the inevitable to happen. When it does happen, it will happen with ferocity and you will be at the mercy of your intestines. You will wonder why you succumbed to the urge to eat junk food in the first place and you will tell yourself it was not worth it. You will feel like such crap that at times you will feel like you have to vomit. You will even throw your iphone aside and rest your head in your hands with your elbows on your legs (if the smell doesn't knock you out already). Then when it's over you will feel really thirsty and you will thank God it's over. Then you will probably look inside the toilet to inspect what you just gave birth to and see the fat floating at the top. Then as you leave the washroom, you will leave the fan on and shut the door behind you because you want everyone in your home to stay alive. The moral of the story is: Don't eat junk food, especially early in the morning when your intestines are empty.

Absolute ****** beauty. He's my buddies dad and he's such a blessed guy. Hope he does a good job
It's usually a quick dinner thing... We get the jarred sauces and toss in something like peas or carrots. You barely notice the chickpeas :)
Happy Friday everyone. I didn't get out for my walk last night due to a downpour so I'm hoping today stays sunny and I'll go further than usual. There are no big plans this weekend but since my son will be gone, I am hoping my bestie and I can get together and maybe do a day trip somewhere.

Good morning! What a beauty looking day. and they have changed the forecast, again, for the weekend so it looks like we'll have a perfect camping weekend. Lots of walks with the dogs and relaxing. We're trying a new campsite this time so hopefully we like it there because it's only an hour away.

Actually, I'm going back to bed because I didn't sleep last night. Sometimes the dogs just want to snuggle me which is lovely, but makes it hard to get comfortable. Or I get trapped in one spot lol.
Accountability: not great. Sad to say I didn't make my May challenge goal. My goal for June is 3.4 pounds. Got to pull up my socks ;) I did go for a walk yesterday and cut the grass in our backyard. Totally wasn't planning on it, but when the mood strikes... Lol.
QOTD: I just gave the little nugget avocado and banana for breakfast and many people have commented on my PB and carrots combination. What's a weird food or food combo that you like that maybe other people would think is odd?
Post-op four years and two months.

Hey Gang! Where is everyone? Me included. I went to the gym this morning and did 18kms on the bike because I was at a good part in the movie in the cardio theatre and wanted to stay.
Slow couple of days at work and that makes them super long. supposed to play ball at 9:00 tonight but it's in the City I work in and I don't want to a) stick around for 4-1/2 hours or b) drive back to town (25-30 mins). I told them I wouldn't make it. Besides, we are camping this weekend and need to get the traiiler ready for a quick departure right after work tomorrow.
B - chicken salad (1/2 banana on the way to gym)
S - yogurt/blueberries
L - taco salad
S - lunch was a little late so I can likely wait until supper
D - pork chop (not my favorite thing but he likes them and this one is too big for him to eat the whole thing)
Hope your day has been good!! It's Friday tomorrow!!!! YAY
Awwww I hope you have a positive turn soon. Hang in there!
