Good morning :)

All our plans were cancelled yesterday because of the weather. I'm okay with that. Today our realtor and a staging consultant are coming to review our house and give us ideas for improvements and staging for photos. Since our house wouldn't be put on the market unless we found a place this gives us time to make changes :) Later I'm thinking we might run a couple small errands if the roads are okay.

Post-op three years and ten months.

Breakfast - protein bar

Snack - Greek yogurt and blueberries

Lunch - sausage and quinoa

Snack - carrots and PB

Dinner - Ceasar salad with homemade bacon

Snack - pudding

All water and vits.

Awesome, I am glad things are moving for you!

I had my orientation there Nov 9th. I am still waiting for a call for my 'surgeon' appointment. It was my understanding that we got our trio appointment then. After reading your post, it appears that isn't the case. Do you mind sharing your timeline so far? Then I can have an idea of what to expect.

The nurse was the easiest of the three. She took BP, measurements, etc. But she will ask you to tell her what the RNY surgery is in your own words. So know it and the parts as well. The dietitian will ask you what changes you've made so far like more water, less junk food, cut out pop, caffeine , etc. The social worker will ask of any history of having therapy, etc. She will ask you if you are still binge eating. Do NOT admit to it. Tell them what they wanna hear. I had Dr. Huynh at HRRH. You will be fine. Good luck :)

The regain/relose/regain/relose struggle is REAL...BTDT...many of us have

You are not alone...

For ME, the only revisions I needed were BRAIN and HABITS...it took me a good 9 YEARS, after my RNY, to get my head in the game, and decide I WAS WORTH THE EFFORT...

A quote I love (it's not mine): "Work as AFTER surgery as you did to GET your surgery"

I'm going on 17 years post op now, with 8 of that at/under goal...

Happy to help you, any way we can
