This week has flown by. We went on a tram ride and a Jeep Tour in the desert. Yesterday, we went to the tennis tournament at Indian Wells. We fly home in the early afternoon. And we reached an agreement on the Florida place. Hopefully we will close in two weeks.
I will post pics next week, but wanted to say "hi " to everyone.
Have a great weekend!

The people on Facebook and other media who write those nasty replies think they are demonstrating how smart they are. I don't engage back which I am sure upsets them more. They can be so ignorant. Sorry you had to experience their ignorance.

Good mornin y'all.
i have my first B12 shot this morning then another urine analysis. Then my mom is wanting to hit up the thrift stores. I am hoping for more energy. My GI tract is pretty bad right now. I guess it's the iron but man...I could do without this. After I get through some of this medical stuff I'm going to attempt physical therapy on my hip. My shoulder is still jacked but it is what it is.
This weekend my brother and the fam is coming over. We're just doing hamburgers. I haven't been eating just a whole lot during the day. Nothing sounds good. We have 6+ bags of chips. My brother and fam is going to go to her families cabin in southern NM Sunday and they wanted us to get some chips from Sam's. I haven't touched any of the chips in weeks. Well I tried some my mom bought. Two potato chips. I have some rainbow assorted carrots I need to fix today or tomorrow.

Happy Friday!!! I just had to post this meme again because I love it. Wow is it windy here today. Driving into work my car was getting pulled all over the place. Not much planned for today at work except for making sure everything is set for the start of our outage on Monday. Not sure what we will be doing this weekend I think it will depend on the weather.
QOTD: What is a hidden talent you didn't know you had? Mine is apparently ******g people off with my honesty and logic. Yesterday someone posted on FB about stopping to get chickens out of the road. While they were doing that some butthead decided to swerve around them and honk. I had posted that I understood their concern for the chickens, but it was ultimately the responsibility of the chickens owners to keep them contained so they are not wandering in the roads. People jumped all over me and when I tried to explain that in CT there is a law regarding roaming dogs and livestock which I posted I was called a liar and an asshole who doesn't care about my community. Oh ok whatever people.
B: coffee and 1 bacon/egg breakfast wrap
L: fish sandwich
D: baked cod with creamed spinach

Have a great day and weekend everyone!!!
Happy Anniversary. Enjoy your wonderful day.

QOTD- My garden last year wasn't successful. Mostly due to the hot temps and not having a good irrigation system. I live in town but have some raised beds and will plant this year, and put in a drip mist system. In my last house I had a wonderful garden in was in a small area but I managed to grow enough tomatoes to can and other veggies.
I had a Zoom counseling meeting on Tuesday I found out that a lot of us are struggling. I try not to watch the news or doom scroll but sometimes I can't help it. I also went to the eye doctor on Tuesday. I had a corneal tear and my eye was still feeling like I had something in it. The tear is gone but I have dry eyes, so drops are my friends.
I had chickens for a few years, I loved my chickens. They were more like pets than anything. I couldn't keep them safe so after losing 2 of them to raccoons I gave the last one to my neighbor. And having a persistent hawk try to carry them off. My smart chicken hid in the tomato plants. I kept wondering why the hawk was still hanging around. I even sprayed him with a hose to try and get him to leave. I don't eat eggs so I used to give them to my roommate or other people. I just wanted the chickens because I liked them. I would not have them again because there are too many predators. I was watching TV the other night and a big raccoon wandered through the yard. It's not the first time I've seen it either. Raccoons, possums, squirrels and a neighbor caught a cougar on her camera. That's mostly what I see on my cameras are animals.
Beautiful sunny day today, it makes you believe in spring!
Have a great day everyone!

I have always lived in town, but we had a great garden when I was growing up and I remember the fresh tomatoes, corn, potatoes, green beans, peppers, peas, and brussel sprouts. I had gardens through the years, even if they were small. I am no longer able to do that and do miss the really fresh produce. If I were stronger I would use our community garden where they assign each person some land to plant and grow their own crops.
