I would think maybe a stabbing type pain or could be a pulling type pain especially if scar tissue has developed.

When I had my lap band before I revised to the bypass I would get a pulling type pain where my port was and it was because it had been encased in scar tissue that attached itself to a muscle and when I moved it would pull on it. Not sure if that makes sense or not.

You could have an ulcer which is pretty common in bypass patients and it is like a burning pain.

Good Morning Gang. The weather yesterday was pretty crappy, chilly and rainy. Today is supposed to be sunny and 50. Irvin got two outside rabbit cages almost done. He just has to put the doors on. They came out pretty nice and we are going to Dartmouth, MA Saturday morning to hopefully pickup two stainless steel rabbit cages so we have extras for when we breed the rabbits in a couple of months.

It was funny when I got home I noticed a notebook on the kitchen table with things written down on it. Then realized that Irvin had made a list of things he wants to get done this year. He must have seen my list from the weekend and how much of it was crossed off. LOL

QOTD: What's your favorite Ice Cream flavor? Haagen Dazs Chocolate Peanut Butter hands down. There is something about the creaminess of the chocolate and the peanut butter is real no fake crap.

B: coffee and bacon and egg wrap

L: corned beef and butternut squash

D: turkey and mashed potatoes

30 minutes on the treadmill

Have a great Tuesday everyone!!!

I rarely drank coffee and my go to drink has always been Coca Cola. Diet Coke for many years. Now it is regular Cherry Coke. But I only drink about an ounce at a time and a 20-ounce bottle does me for a week or so.

Jennifer, you are amazing with everything you get accomplished. I love shrimp so will try that recipe.

Jim, congratulations on your fitness. Long ago, when I ran, I told myself even if you end up walking or come in last, almost nobody else in the world would be able to finish those runs.

Chrissy, it was down in the 30's here all weekend. Also some rain, so great weather for watching movies.

I will have to check out the new flavor. As I got towards 5-k, my legs were saying "Yeah, almost done!" But my brain was saying "two more miles still."

Congrats on the Run. I do not know if I could finish a 5k in 67 minutes at this time, but I think you did great. Congratulations. I lost my running gloves somewhere over the winter and I am not happy. I been looking for them for over a month with no success. Also, I see Sidney Sweenie has a new Bai called Simbu Strawberry. I did not grab one, but I was tempted.

Good morning Jennifer and Menuers,

Wow you did so much this weekend. I was definitely nonproductive myself. I mean I did all my usual, but I did not do any extra. Mel I get McCormick's grill mates Brazilian Steakhouse mix and add turmeric, cumin, garlic, and onion powder to it. I use it as a dry rub and once I have the beef sliced the way I want it I put it in a bowl with a little avocado oil. Mix the beef and oil then sprinkle the dry rub on it and mix it up good. I usually let it sit for an hour on the counter before I put it in the dehydrator.

I start checking on it after about 5 hours to see how it's coming. Most batches are done in under 12 hours. I find adding the oil helps to keep the meat from totally drying out. I have an Excalibur dehydrator that has different temperatures for different items.
