Morning gang. I'm just about to head out to the butcher shop for a Christmas roast. I feel like I should wear ruby slippers or something.
We're doing Christmas dinner here. I think there will be 7 of us? And we go to my bff's house for a Christmas eve party. I've been doing that for at least 20 years now.
Apologies for the lack of pictures. I haven't taken one for a few weeks now. I'll try and remember.

Fortunately, my program did have a support group, and I was able to meet many people in different stages of their journey. I believe it was the key to continued success. Support is definitely a game changer if it is available. After Covid many support groups went away. So sad.

Your program will tell you if you need to. But you should do it anyway. You'll be better off.

If you are making them from scratch, trust me and try one f your jalapeños stuffed with peanut butter. It sounds weird but is delicious! One of our older restaurants here does them that way and when I started making them, I turned them into bacon wrapped pb jalapeños,

I've got a busy day ahead. We have to run something to my brother where he works then we will pick up the girls at 11. Then we run to the library where my SIL works to pick up Randall. We'll have them the rest of the day.
The weekend ahead looks somewhat relaxed. I'll need to get groceries Sunday for Christmas but other than that not much is happening. I'll probably not be posting again until after Christmas though. So I'm wishing all of y'all a wonderful Christmas and start of Hanukkah!
QOTD: What's y'all's plans for the your particular holiday?
We're doing a couple of roasts in the crock pot. One for BBQ and the other with potatoes and carrots. We will be going to Sam's to get brioche slider buns and some kind of dessert. Probably cookies and maybe an apple pie. My brother and his family will be over most of the day. I'll be making jalapeño poppers, doing French fries and my mom is doing something she saw on FB, calling it meat poppers. We'll see lol. The weather is supposed to be decent. High of 60° and a slight chance of rain, which we really need.
B: eggsL cheese and coffee
L: probably chicken and a handful of pretzels.
D: completely unplanned. Probably oatmeal
Ms.Tange and a meme.
The surgery is not a miracle cure for poor eating habits. You will need to work with your center's team to learn the healthy eating that will made the surgery successful, not just in the short term but for life.

I love snow, but mostly look at it from the window these days. I hate it when it melts and turns black from the stuff they put on the roads. After Christmas, I am ready for spring again.
