Good morning, everybody!
I'm back home from swimming. When I went outside this morning, it was warm(ish) and snowing. What a difference 10 degrees makes - 20 degrees is miserable and I'm scraping ice off of my car at 5:40 AM. 30 degrees is fine. Usually, I work from home on Tuesday and Wednesday, but this week I had an in-office meeting on Wednesday, so I am home today. I have a couple of calls and need to go to Crossfit this afternoon.
We got so much food for my son's birthday, we will be eating Filipino leftovers all weekend, most likely. We also got this sticky rice and toasted coconut dessert called Biko, which I am loving. It has some Anise seed in it, so a bit of a licorice taste.
Football and gym time for the weekend. Maybe try and track down some of my Bai water at GFS.
QOTD: Beef is probably my favorite, but really I like all of them.
Breakfast: Corned Beef Has and English muffin
Lunch: leftovers
Dinner: Leftovers
Have a great day, all!

Good morning Jen and everyone!
Well....we got over 9 inches of snow yesterday. 9 inches. Yay. lol. We were supposed to get 1-4"s. So we're stuck inside again today. I am ok with it. All the schools are canceled today. There is a lot of ice underneath.
I will work on jewelry and hopefully get some naps in. I didn't get a lot of sleep. Thanks to the older cats. My new comforter I got on clearance is the greatest thing to them since licky treats.
QOTD: if I could it'd be seafood but mostly chicken. My mom eats a lot of beef but it's not my absolute favorite.
B: small breakfast burrito & coffee
L: stew
D: probably chicken and maybe a piece of cheese
made the ball yesterday and the other one is going to be a necklace.
Happy Friday!!! This week actually wasn't that bad. We did great with our safety audit and end up having a surprise DEEP inspection by the state which we passed with flying colors. Out of all the plants that Wheelabrator/Win-Waste operators the Lisbon one is always on top of things.
Not much planned for the weekend. We are going to get a big bale of alfalfa hay for the rabbits to nibble on and I plan on just picking through things in the office to clean it up a bit more.
QOTD: What is your favorite type of protein beef, chicken, pork or seafood? I eat mainly chicken and pork since that is what I raise. But when there is a good sale on fish like cod, haddock or other types of sal****er white fi****ry to stock up on that so I can have it on hand, and it has to be wild caught farm raised fish is fed junk that is not good for them or us. As much as I like beef if it's not pasture raised it causes issues with Irvin's blood sugar, and we think it's because of what the cow is feed usually corn and soy. Of course, pasture raised beef is rather pricey, so we keep that for special occasions like a birthday or holiday.
B: 2 eggs and homemade sausage patti
L: chicken livers wrapped in bacon
D: baked haddock with spinach and parm cheese
S: beef jerky
Have a wonderful Friday everyone!!!
Well that took forever to resize the pictures of the rabbits. These are our breeding pairs. The two Creme ones are Price and Princess and the two gray/black ones are Jack and Jill (Irvin named them)
Good Afternoon! Friday-Eve! I couldn't post earlier because my day started early since I had to leave for a dentist appt. Hopefully one more after today and then I'll be back on track.
QOTD: Not that I can think of. I'm a little picky and. To very adventurous but I don't think it's fear.
TSS: 10 years 4 months
B: SF latte, 3 turkey sausage links, and an orange
L: Turkey and cheese sticks, oikos yogurt and some fruit
S: A piece of fruit and yogurt
D: Something easy since I'll still be numb from the dentist
ES: Protein ice cream and carbmaster toast
E: 1/2 hour elliptical and 2 miles on treadmill
V/W: On track
Totals:TBD
Have a great day!
I know my experience with venison was bad because I needed to add something like bacon because it is dry. I no longer have people who bring it to me. I have had it when it was excellent.

At 76 I do end up in the hospital a lot. I am glad that they are there to take care of us and hope QJB's dad is OK and it is a short hospital stay. Swinging chickens.

Chicken is iffy for me away. Too dry and I cannot eat it. I love chicken if it is cooked properly.

That would be awesome. I have put them in boiling water, but never tried poaching in butter. I wish we lived closer. I could learn so much from you.
