Good Morning Jenniefer and Menuers,

I really had a great dinner last night. I had scallops and the dish had pork belly and a lobster claw. There was a cream chimichurri sauce that I really liked. I think today is the last brutally cold day. Starting tomorrow it should be in the 20's when we wake up. So much better than the 8° we woke up with this morning. Nothing planned for this evening. Just have to take mom to cards. I think she is liking the heated seats in my car. I am not a huge fan but with how cold it's been I have been using them. I do like the heated steering wheel. Thats a feature I never had before.

QOTD: Oh I love a good yard/estate/thrift/rummage sale. We have not been in a while, but my housekeeper broke my floor lamp, so I need to get out there and find a replacement. My neighborhood does a community yard sale Memorial Day weekend. I missed it the last couple years due to travel. This year I plan on being around I have some things I need to off load but too good to just throw away or donate.

Accountability: I had two heart truffles in celebration of the anniversary.

Good chilly morning to y'all. It's sooooo cold here...for here anyway. 1° with wind chills in -20's. We have to go to Walmart for my mom's prescriptions. Can't say yay enough! We're supposed to be in the mid 70's next week.

I'm feeling so tired but I've got stuff to do, I'm not sleep great still and pain is just..well annoying. I'm over it.

QOTD: yard sales can be ok but they make me uncomfortable sometimes. I prefer thrift stores as I don't have to look through stuff in front of the previous owners.

B: eggs, sausage and coffee + special k bar

L: Not sure

D: roast with carrots and a few potatoes

The last time I had a garage sale, we did notice people stealing $1 items. Now I just donate everything to Goodwill or post on Freecycle. I have sold on Craigslist and on Facebook in the past.

I am so excited for you and Marilyn and the new place. It should be so much fun to snowbird and it sounds like you found the perfect place to do it.

Good morning everybody!

We are under contract! Well, at least I think that we are. With the new e-signatures, it isn't as easy to see signatures as back in the days of faxing, but our realtor told us that both parties have initialed. He is supposed to send the contract today, with the Seller's e-signatures. We have scheduled closing for March 31st, but have an option to move it up if we get through all of our pre-closing tasks.

Sunday morning, Marilyn and my son are heading down to coordinate the various inspections: home, mol, dock/seawall, pool, etc. There is also an appraisal for the bank, but we don't control when that is going to happen. They are going to try and get some fun in the sun while they are there.

I'm back from swimming this morning. Today was fitting day for 2024 gear. I learned the difference between triathlon kits and bicycle kits. I am going to order bicycle top and shorts, because I have a triathlon kit that I have only worn to the event last year. Since it was fitting day, the pool was pretty crowded, I had to share a lane for most of the 45 minutes and have the scuffs on my knuckles (from the pool wall) to show for it.

Other than that, just work and Crossfit. We have moved to every other week for Happy Hour, and fly tying was cancelled tonight.

QOTD: Marilyn has had a couple over the years. I don't go regularly, but if I see a sign advertising something that interests me, I will stop by.

Breakfast: Bagel

Lunch: Roast beef sandwich

Diner: broccoli cheddar soup

Have a great day, all!

Good morning menuer's. We are halfway through the week. I've been trying to find inspirational memes for the week and so far, I seem to be accomplishing that.

I have to meet a lady in a little bit at the end of the access road with some horse tack that she is going to buy. So far, I've been doing pretty decent selling off things I no longer need or use. Still have more stuff to go organize and get rid of.

QOTD: Does anyone hold yard sales or go to yard sales? For years I would have a couple of yard sales each year, but since Covid people have been really odd and would steal stuff even if it was a $1, so I stopped doing them and just sell stuff on FB or craigslist. Sometimes I will go to one if there is stuff I happen to be looking for.

B: coffee and egg with avocado

L: roast beef and cheddar wrap

D: baked pork chops

30 minutes on the treadmill

Have a great day everyone!!!
