Hi gang. Happy Friday! Though, it really doesn't have a lot of meaning for me. We really don't have much going on this weekend. JB has class prep, and she might have her BFF over. And we've got Thanksgiving planning, in a big way. We've got at least 24 people here for dinner, so we need to figure stuff out.

QOTD: I've never done weekly -- or daily -- meal prep. But my meals are pretty basic. I often have sausages in the morning. Open the bag, put 8 sausages in the airfrier, and boom, meal prep done. I had cheeseburgers twice yesterday. Patty, cheese, done. It works for me.

Have a great weekend all.

Good mornin y'all.

Meeting my aunt today for lunch and a thrift store run. We'll also be going to the new home goods store. I would like to stay home but it's good for me to get out.

PT is going so so, no improvement really but it's at least not getting worse anymore, they are thinking it's a rotator cuff issue. The referral only mentioned my neck so there isn't much they can do for it per se other than to strengthen the neck area. I'm a little dismayed but it is what it is. Since I can't get an mri here in town I may have to end up going to Lubbock for one if need be.

QOTD: no real meal prep here, though I should.

b: eggs, cheese and coffee

L: most likely a salad

D: ????

a cardinal and a blue jay in our front yard. The zoom was maxed out.

Good Friday morning everyone. I have a half day at work today, so I have to make sure I get everything done before I leave at noon.

Any plans for the weekend? My husband wants to watch the Mike Tyson/Jake Paul fight tonight on Netflix. I think Mike is just doing it for some extra cash. Yet he does look pretty good for 58.

The weather looks to be in the 60's so I might do something outside around the house.

QOTD: Does anyone do weekly meal prepping on the weekends? That is one thing for the most part that I still do. Every now and again I'll make something different during the week, but most everything has already been made or planned out each weekend. For me it makes things easier during week when I get home from work.

B: coffee and protein shake

L: TBD

D: baked haddock with sweet potato fries

Have a wonderful Friday!!!

I can see you taking over a plane with toothpaste and shaving cream. LOL I get it there are size regulations for a reason right. I've only ever flown twice in my life not really a fan of planes.

While I have certain dishes I make all the time I also love cooking new types of food especially stuff I've had at a restaurant. Like the bok choy soup I make. A few years ago I had a type of soup at a Thai restaurant that I loved so I set out to figure out how to make it myself. I've tweaked it a bit here and there, but the actual taste is almost identical to what I had at the restaurant.

I also love to experiment with different ways of cooking things. The only thing I have not tried yet is sous vide. I have one, just haven't used it yet. I might try it with a venison roast I was given.

It's amazing to b able 2 eat. For a few days I've just been scarfing ( modest amounts) of food down.

Each one felt like a feast !!! I feel so much stronger and ... really... ready 2 go . Im thinking about exercise :)

I usually check my bags, so I had oversized toothpaste and shaving cream in my travel case.
