Most of the blueberries are froze to be used in yogurt and other things this Winter. I did make two lemon blueberry loaves one got frozen the other one was gone in two days lol. The peaches I just grabbed because I know how much Irvin loves them.

Fresh seafood is the biggest perk of living in New England. When we have the time we go fishing and clamming which is a lot of fun.

  • PS- well this was a first...Pouchie closed up today. I had that few bites of super chopped cottage cheese chicken salad this afternoon, no bueno and I had to get it out. Luckily a canned protein shake was chilled, that worked fine. The propofol shut it down? That's never happened after a colonoscopy before.

Melody,

Have you tried the Proferrin iron? It's spend, but works well.

Happy Monday! Glad you got to go picking blueberry picking finally. It is nearly bend-over peach season here in our agri-tourism area (Greenbluff, Wa) and they will be yummy. Worth every carb. Are you planning any great desserts with the blueberries and peaches?

All your meal pics looked so delicious. Really good seafood here isn't actually fresh unless you're a millionaire and can have it flown over from the coast.

QOTD: Well I presume the yacht comes with a staff, that does sound attractive but I have to go with a tow-behind camper. That's the vacations I grew up on and I can visualize going with Hubby where he could fish and I could sit inside with my Singer Featherweight and sew, sew, sew with the fresh air wafting or snug inside during a snowstorm. He's outdoorsy and I'm indoorsy...I can see it working!

Had a colonoscopy again this morning and so ticked that I finally had the chance to get to know my true weight without...you know. But they have their process so streamlined that they only ask what it is and take your word for it! lol Now just to wait for the test results which will most likely be good since the dr. said I could wait for 5 years for the next one. That beats the previous timelines they had me on by a mile.

B: The delicious other half of the GaviLyte prep and some water

L: 5 green beans, tried to eat some healthy chicken salad but only managed about a tablespoon.

D: Maybe a Fairlife shake and some chicken broth that I didn't drink over the weekend. Just not hungry today.

Heat advisory today and tomorrow 97/98. It will be perfect for the funeral Friday-- 80 and a few showers.

Tomorrow will be back to my normal protein shake to start the day. It is so much easier to diet in the summer when I can have that giant frosty shake and fresh veggies from the garden.

Enjoy your day, everybody. I'm going to take a nap!

THANK YOU! Whoever says this is the "easy way out", they just don't know the day-to-day reality it is for some of us.

Good Morning! Monday we meet again. Your meal looks yummy!I had a good weekend, spent Friday evening at Em's apartment since her cat was still recovering from her teeth removal surgery we took dinner and just hung out for a bit. We took a drive Saturday and had lunch at a BBQ that was just ok and we did spend some time over the weekend binge watching a docuseries called Naming the Dead-it was very interesting and I thought about how neat it could be to volunteer for the Doe Project.

Today is my 11 year surgiversary! Wow time flies that's for sure. It just doesn't seem that long ago but also it feels like a lifetime ago.

My menu today is typical fare for during the day and for dinner small BBQ burger, no bun with some carrots, protein ice cream with banana on top and probably a slice of toast. Exercise done, water and vits on track.

I hope the start to this week is great for all!
