Good Morning Gang. The weekend wasn't too bad weather wise some rain off and on, but we were able to get a few things done outside. Got the billy goat patches back to my SIL yesterday morning and then I posted some truck stuff on FB for Irvin. He had a Chevy short bed with sidesteps that he didn't need so I posted it and had about 10 people interested. A guy from New York came and got it for $550. Now he has more room on the cement pad to work on one of his Challengers.
Three people called out of work today. More people here call out on a Monday than any other day of the week. Besides our Spring inventory of the warehouse tomorrow the week should be rather quiet.
QOTD: Did anyone watch the Kentucky Derby on Saturday? I had to put a reminder in my phone so I wouldn't miss it. What a sloppy track they had to run on, but Sovereignty beat out the favorite Journalism in the home stretch. It was a really good race.

Oh My! I could have written this, myself! In fact, I think I DID! I will have to read back on my profile "novel", starting in late 2001.
My granny was "my person"- hands down! She loved me, unconditionally, no matter how fat I got, how many times I got divorced, etc. She was obese, herself, and always worried about MY health- even though my health stayed pretty good. I had RNY, on 4/22/02. Granny died 10/18/02, so she didn't get to see me reach goal, etc, but, she knew when I hit the Century Club, and she was so excited!!
You keep honoring your grandma! That constant love is better than any cookie or ice cream will ever be!

Just letting you know I have my mental health assessment scheduled for tomorrow as part of the pre-op requirements for bariatric surgery. I'm looking forward to the next step in this journey and appreciate your continued support.
I used to stock up when I found a good deal. I know the vacuum sealer really kept things in good shape. Always made my own sauces and froze them. Also had fruit for pies and frozen peppers and lots of meats.
My sister got new chickens about a month ago. This week one was missing. She thought a raccoon but could not see anywhere it could get in. Next morning another one was gone. She looked and finally found them under a new feeder. They are all fine now so that was a relief.

Real life begins where your comfort zone ends
Hi! Another crazy busy day and didn't get a chance to post all day. I will be working a few hours this weekend but hoping for a less chaotic Monday. I think I'm having lunch and pedicures with Em on Sunday and I am looking forward to it.

"I wonder if pizza thinks about me, too."
This March, I lost my grandma, my rock, and the person who always believe in me, even when I struggled to believe in myself. Her passing has left huge hole in my life, but it's also given me a renewal sense of purpose. My grandma always worried about my health especially my weight. At over 400 lbs, I know I haven't been living the healthy life she wanted for me. So I making a promise to her and myself to change that.
My Promise:
I'm starting this blog to document my Journey. It's not just about losing weight; it's about honoring my grandma's memory and making her proud. I'm taking the difficult but necessary step on pursuing weight loss surgery. It's a tool, a new beginning, and a way for me to take control of my health and future.
The Road Ahead:
This won't be easy. There will be challenges, setbacks, and moments when I want to give up. But I'll keep thinking of my grandma, her unwavering love, and the promise i made her. I want to live a long health life.
