Good Morning on this Fri-yay! I hope the rest of your audit goes well. I am not sure yet what my weekend looks like. I may have to work a few hours to feel more prepared for next week but that is only if I get some reports I need from other departments. John will be working off/on anyways (membership drive) so it'll be a low key weekend. Emily has been experimenting more with her sourdough and it's so fun to see her creations (pizza and cinnamon swirl most recently).

QOTD: I'm usually not up late enough but if I am and if something cool is happening I'll try and take a look.

Good morning, Jennifer and Menuer's

I ended up getting a pedicure at lunch yesterday. The lady who has done my pedicure for the last at least 15 years went to Vietnam to see her family and she was off for 2 months. Being it was the winter it didn't matter so I saved a few bucks. I called yesterday and I was shocked when she could fit me in. This is all good news because if I would have tried to run without a pedicure, I would have had some serious runner's toe. Tomorrow is the cycle fund raiser, after that I have mom duty. She really needs a haircut this week, so I'll get that done and I believe Ron needs his hair cut also. I bought a head of cabbage, so I plan on making Huluski. I will take out a few servings for myself before I add the noodles for everyone else.

QOTD: I slept right through it last night and I guess it was beautiful and clear here in Pittsburgh. I like to look at the sky but not to the point that I actually know what I am looking at. I can pick out the big dipper but that's about it.

Accountability: 2 club crackers w/peanut butter and butter.

Good mornin y'all.

we're likely to stay home all day. We're having gusts of wind upwards of 70mph right now. Sucks...big time suck, I hate the wind and I live in the wrong place for that!

i might do some cleaning and get some phone calls done. I can't take an antacid and my GERD is flaming up this morning. So gross.

QOTD: I love sky watching, whether it be clouds or stellar. I also missed most of the clips due to haze and spotty clouds.

B: eggs

L: probably chicken or soup

D: ???

happy Pi day!

Morning Gang sorry I'm a little late a bit busy this morning at work. We made it through another week. So far the outage itself is still going well, but we have had a couple of employee issues. We will see how HR handles them.

I can't wait to get outside this weekend and do some yard work. I did do half of a list yesterday of what I want to get done this year. Other than that not much planned for the weekend.

QOTD: Does anyone here like to star gaze or watch eclipses? I love looking at the sky at night especially during the Summer. I swear the stars are so much brighter in the Summer than in the Winter. Unfortunately, I missed the Lunar Eclipse last night due to the overcast skies.

B: coffee and 2 hard boiled eggs

L: Jersey Mike's tuna sub

D: Fish and chips from Henry's Diner they have Lent specials

30 minutes on the treadmill

Have a great day and weekend everyone!!!

Good morning, Jennifer and Menuer's

I have no mom duty today, but I have to stop by the gym and pick up my tank for Saturday's fundraiser. The owner of the gym is a teacher, and she has a student that is not well. We are raising money for her care. It is teams of 3 and it is a cycle event. Everyone is to raise $100 to donate but I am just going to give $100 out of pocket. I have no desire to fundraise.

QOTD: Cremation for sure. I do not want anyone feeling obligated to put flowers on my grave. I put my dad's ashes in the Caribbean Ocean near Cancun so I would like mine spread somewhere as well.

Accountability: I ate a big piece of Chocolate Birthday cake and regret every minute. I was sick for a few hours. I knew the consequences and it was very good. Sorry, not sorry.

My husband was cremated and wanted his ashes on the property where we lived. He passed in July and I kept putting off scattering the ashes. I finally decided to get it over with on a snowy day in January. I took them far out in the yard, opened the container and let them go on the ground.

The next morning my cats came in with something black on their paws. That happened every morning and I finally realized that they were walking in the ashes. I decided to go and cover up the ashes, but could not find them. The snow had melted and then it had snowed again.

I had ashes in the kitchen for months. When spring came and the snow melted again, I found the ashes a long way from where I had scattered them. I dug a hole and covered them up. They were his cats and I am pretty sure they knew that those were his remains.

When I sold that property I told the new owner that there were remains on the property, as disclosure is required by law. He said that he thought that was a good idea and would have his ashes scattered there as well.
