Good morning all and Happy Monday,

Weekend was good. I enjoyed life. Yesterday, we went to a BBQ at Paula's Parents' house. It was enjoyable but strange since I'm dating Paula and have established personal relationships with attendees and now I'm dating my friend's sister, his parents' daughter, and other friends that have known Paula from birth. It's a weird dynamic.

QOTD- YES. I will stop the day if I next to rest, meditate, or take 15min to lay down.

B: Yogurt, half bagel, half cup coffee.

L: BBQ with Mom and sister.

D: salad with yesterday's chicken.

HW: 371 SW(8/9/21): 324 CW: 208 lbs 0 lbs til goal of skin reduction surgery. I'm still looking for a new plastic surgeon.

I always stop to admire and enjoy beautiful flowers. Roses this time of year, lilac and peonies in spring and mums in the fall. I don't garden anymore but my neighbors do. I do have an aerogarden and have parsley, basil, thyme, and a tomato with lots of flowers on it.

Your belt will be beautiful. The dream catcher picture you posted last week is the dream catcher you made for me about five years ago. I still love it.

Jen, so happy that everything is going so well at home and the Y. Sounds like great staff there and a great place to be. Something went wrong with my plumbing on Friday and everything was backed up and I could not run any water. I had to spend two days in Holiday Inn.

Not a fun reason to be there. It is cleaned up now and I am back at home. It affected everyone in my building. It is going to cost the condo association $180,000 to have liners put in the old galvanized pipes for the building. The boyfriend of the condo president came over and watched my cat while I was in the hotel. My cat bit him. Not hard but my cat does not always like his home disturbed and lets people now when he does not want them around. It is almost like having a teenager again.

Good mornin everyone.

The weekend was ok. We had to mow yesterday and my mom was almost finished and started having cold chills. Soooo... I had to finish. I feel like **** today but at least it's done. So much pain. Ugh.

We need groceries today. We may go to Sam's but that's not set in stone. I've finally convinced my mom to eat a little better. She hasn't been horrible but it's easier to cook for two than one. We're going to do a joint meal a day.

I spent my free time this weekend finishing the units for a belt. Today I'll work on some units my boss is wanting.

QOTD: yes I do. I love taking a bit to appreciate the sky or flowers...whatever catches my attention. Like yesterday I watched a wasp fly around for 7 or 10 minutes. Just focusing on it. It relaxed me.

B: egg burrito, coffee

L: salad with baked chicken

D: roast fixed in the crock pot.

Good Monday morning gang. We had a really productive weekend. Pretty much finished the rabbit hutch, Irvin just has to add handles to the big doors. We spent 2 hours both Saturday and Sunday at the Y. The nice guy who was in charge of the workout area showed me how to use the treadmill since it is different from the one I have at home and then he showed Irvin the different weight machines. After we worked out for a half hour I hit the lap pool and he hit the steam room and sauna then came to the pool.

My doctors appointment went well last Friday. I had even lost 4lbs and all of my bloodwork except for vitamin D and B came back great. My ferritin even went up from 61 to 76 I started adding in a daily capsule of freeze-dried grass-fed beef liver and I think that has helped with my Iron and ferritin. I go back in 4 months to see how my progress is doing.

QOTD: Do you ever stop what you're doing to take 5 or 10 minutes to just relax or meditate? Yesterday afternoon I was outside doing some yard work and decided to pull my blanket out and just sit for 10 minutes sucking in the sun and listening to the critters.

B: coffee and egg and ham wrap

L: salad with cottage cheese

D: grilled pork chops and steamed zucchini

Treadmill and then swimming. Really glad the Y is open until 9pm during the week.

Have a fabulous day everyone!!!!

When I worked night shift one girl's mom called and asked if her Cindy had a pillow and blanket. I knew they slept but did not know about the blanket and pillow. We never had anything back up while they were sleeping and they did get everything done when they got up .

I guarantee those people have been sleeping on the job and got away with nothing going wrong. They probably won't get fired over it.

QOTD: Nothing special but I look forward to every day. When you reach 77 you treasure every day. Even the cold rainy ones.

I could go on and on and on about that issue. Our governor was out of state as was a senator(he was in Greece). The senator was also awol during the cold weather issue you mentioned. It's mainly ineptness...incompetence and so on. They are so worried about following an ideology than actually serving the people they were elected to do so.

Good mornin menu folks!

That sounds crazy Jennifer! I'm glad they are ok but geez you'd think they'd have a brain about it all.

Today we're going out with my aunt for thrifting and lunch. I think they are wanting to go to Blue Sky for lunch.

Yesterday was HECTIC. The kids never ever stopped talking from the get go. Nonstop gibberish lol. They are constantly trying to "roast" each other. It's comical but man are they harsh. They fought a lot too. Of course. I was glad when my brother picked em up. lol

QOTD: what is one thing in the next few weeks you're looking forward to?

I see the orthopedic doctor on the 16th and I'm glad about that! So looking forward to getting this shoulder fixed. I've also got to ask about my left hip.

B: unfortunately an apple fritter and coffee

L: prob a children's burger meal

D: orange chicken and some veggie

a few pics of things I've made. The dreamcatcher is an older piece and the other one is a belt I'm working on for my boss(the bottom one) and it's going to end up with things inbetween them that my boss will do. The other two are memes of course!
