I haven't done water aerobics since I was 6 weeks post op. I don't even know when they hold them. I wouldn't mind going again though. Do you have a certain day and time you go? Let me know. I would join you.

In fairness to all future bariatric patients, please be advised that there are 8 facilities in Wisconsin that are Centers of Excellence that involves 9 practices and 19 surgeons. Hi..
I had RNY 10/15/07 in Milwaukee. Dr Chua was my surgeon. It's been a great experience. Some bad days some not so bad days. I've learned what triggers dumping and avoid those foods. I feel great and feel great. All my labs have been normal and I appear to be healthy : )

Remember exercise is NOT an option nor is support group meetings. This is something you will need to do forever.

I had my surgery on a tue. My companion took me out on sunday for all you can eat crab legs, and then mon. my mom took me to olive garden I ate 4 bread sticks with marinara sauce and seafood alfredo i at almost the whole plate, and i had a salad and a few glasses of soda. I actually gained 19 lbs from jan. to aug. when my surgery was, needless to say he was ticked. But all is good now, i do miss bread and pasta sometimes but i have had a little bit of rice and the wheat wraps. Good luck.

I work @ the hospital that he comes from and I would NOT recommend him. Due to patient confidentiality I can not say more...but I wouldn't do it. I know this message is VERY late.. I hope you have found someone better.

I'm a little late replying but Dr. Selwyn did my RNY and 10 months later did my galbladder removal. I LOVE this man & his staff. His staff is great, helpful and easy to get a hold of. The doc has good beside manner and is very good at what he does. I would highly recommend him.
