We had surgery on the same day. I'm on full liquids because problems with strictures but look forward to eating 1000 cal a day. That is what I heard we should be at this point. I also look forward to working out which I haven't done much so far (too tired). Trying hard to get my protein in but that is hard too. Keep in touch. Julie

800 minimum and around 1200 maximum. I had surgery at the same place as you. Recently, when I went in for my 3rd month follow-up, I met with a new NUT. To be honest, I rely on a lot of my own research and listen to my body. I go with the final phase in our post surgery guide they give us and I modify it but I stick to the basic plan. Also the post on here WETEOS (Whats everyone eating today) has helped me with ideas. Just remember to get in at least 60 grams of protein and go easy on the carbs and drink your liquids and you can be pretty creative within that framework.
All time high...280 in summer of 2009. Approx. 276 when I first weighed in at Cleveland Clinic
Hugs to all in this cool group from Deborah. Hang in there on our healthy path.

You and I have the same surgeon Princess. We probably have the same NUT if I ever get to see her.

Since my weight loss slowed as I get closer to my goal, I have upped my daily protein to 100 g per day.  I also lowered my carbs to around 20 g per day.  Fat ranges from about 14 to 18 g per day.

Since RNY on September 21 I have always averaged about 660 calories per day.

I feel OK.  But when I start riding my bicycle again, I may have to increase my intake.

Good Luck.

herc......you're too low......even without cycling that is inadequate.  Upping healthy fats would be beneficial....they are essential for cellular growth, particularly neurologic tissue and such severe restriction could open you up to longer term neuropathies.  Susan

I'm just over 6 months out and say my nut last month.  She said I should be eating a min. of 1200 calories per day, that anything below that I'm burning muscle instead of fat.

Thanks to all that responded. I am going to shoot for 1000 a day and see how that goes, I guess I may even have to up it from that as I am working out everyday. I appreciate all the support I get from this site and everyone here! I will be watching the WETCO's post to see what everyone else is eating.  Thanks!
