Has anyone had the weigh loss surgery around here, I can't travel too far really bad bladder problems. I feel comfortable being closer to home. Does anyone live in the area know of a good hospital that does weight loss surgery?  Thanks

I lived in the area a few years back.  At that time there was a program at Goshen Hospital.  I can't remember the surgeon's name though.  Then, there is Dr. Sloan in Ft. Wayne. They were just getting that program up and running when I was there.  I had worked in surgery with Dr. Sloan and he was an EXCELLENT surgeon.  Don't know how he does with weight loss surgery because at the time he was a "general" surgeon.  He was  extremely nice to his patients and was very thourough and meticulous when doing his cases in the OR.
