WETEO's - Whatcha' Eating Today Everyone

Hey Everyone -
No gym this week since I am doing tour of duty at my friend's house.  I took Romeo for a 15 minute walk when I got home and plan to take him out for a second one in a short while.

I think there should be new rules when it comes to tracking food.
1. If no one SEES you eat it, it should not count
2.  If it takes less than 30 seconds to eat, the calories don't exist

We'll I could at least WI**** worked that way. I wolfed down the Ghiradelli chocolate in less than a minute and then reflected DARN that was 110 calories!  But it tasted good (the short while that it lasted) and isn't dark chocolate supposed to be good for you???

Hi Nancy and everyone, had a nice day.  Cleaned the house, few loads of laundry, grocery shopped, made a nice dinner.  Todays eats
B. 1/2 protein shake
D. 3 oz steak, 1/2 small baked potatoe, ear of corn with butter and salt
S. protein shake
I felt like I was on auto piolet, and didnt want to stop eating tonight.  It almost scared me for a minute, thankfully I really cant overeat too much, not with a pouch anyway.  I think its because I didnt eat anything today, got too busy and didnt realize it till dinner.  Lesson learned.  have a nice night everyone.  maria

Hi Maria -
I think you are right ... you went too long between meals and then got ravished.  My biggest regrets are when I go grocery shopping while I am super hungry.  Sometimes I grab something to much on at the store and it is typically not the best choice.

Do you use myfitnesspal?  It looks like it? I can't figure out how to capture that screen and paste it here successfully without it altering the data/format.  Suggestions? :)  P.S. Glad to hear your epilepsy is somewhat under control now and not giving you *as much* grief.

Wow---now THAT'S some serious info about your food. (*grin*)

Today, I have had:

Breakfast: leftover sausage and biscuit---the sausage was about 2 ounces, after cooking, and th biscuit was homemade, so---who knows? I also had about 6 slices of bacon, and a tomato.

Lunch: Leftover chili---I'm guessing about a cup and a half, with 2 slices of cheese on top. Wish I had some more, for dinner. (*grin*)

Snack: bowl of ice cream. Store-bought, and not all that good. Need to get the freezer out this weekend and fix some home'made stuff instead.

Second snack: string cheese, two sticks.

Dinner's going to be leftover chicken, with a salad, and whatever else I can scare up. (Can you tell I'm trying to clean out the fridge?)
One day I keep saying that we will ONLY eat the stuff that is in the freezer ... it would probably last us 2 whole months!  I think we are under the mistaken illusion that if it is in the freezer it will last forever!  I got to remind myself to bring some bacon to work tomorrow.  I had the oscar meyer center cuton bacon and it was really good.  Only 70 calories for three slices.

Mmmmmm...BACON.  I think it was you that taught me to bake it in the oven, right?  I can't believe I lived 36 years before I knew about this trick!!!!  Thanks BTW.

Nope, 'twern't me---I cook mine in the microwave, and save the grease. (*grin*) I think it was Jenna that came up with the oven method.

yeah, i have to track cause my weight flip flops so bad. i need the stability. Even though since the surgery i have been doing well, i get low sodium levels from an epilepsy med i take. I need numbers on a daily basis to make sure  I get enough sodium. it also reassures me that my gains are probably from salt.
