Glad to hear that your pouch is still working after such a long time ...... !!!!! That reenforces what my surgeon told me during one of my many "questions" during this journey. I had heard so much on the boards about the pouch stretching, etc, etc. My surgeon told me that he makes the pouch from the most durable part of the stomach and it is very uncommon for the pouch to stretch and his findings have been that most people who start regaining after 3 years have become lax with their food intake, and have gone back to old eating habits, grazing, not journalizing and have become more sedondary with their exercise. I'm sure that is not the case with every one .... but its truly "inspiring" to know that your pouch is working great, and you still have restriction! Awesome huh? I think this surgery is ONE MIRACULOUS life saver!

Hi. This is the first time I have seen a post from you and it has already helped me so much. I'm still fairly new, but have had awesome (miraculous) weight loss. Now I'm losing slowly. I was getting overwhelmed by the amount of weight I still need to lose. The people who have replied to my posting on this all week have been wonderful, helpful, and so kind. I love OH and the groups and the forums. I'd be really discouraged without them and stories like yours. Mind if I follow right behind you on our journeys? Thanks for posting honestly and openly. You are incredible. Keep heading towards your goals. Mag
