chest pain after vomiting

I'm 6 weeks out RNY and had a bout of vomiting last night. I think something was stuck or I over ate, I'm not sure. Anyway, this morning I have upper abdomen pain into my chest and right side of my face. It's worse when I inhale and when I swallow. I haven't eaten anything since the vomiting but I have been drinking and that causes pain,too. Anyone else have this? What do you do to feel better?

You've definitely strained yourself.

Take it easy today -- and avoid whatever you ate yesterday. Vomiting can be miserable.

You also might want to check in with your doctor, in case god forbid you ripped something inside.
